Well our turn has come to an end Can someone please put us in RED. I wish everyone only the best a fast process The only advice I can give you is Stand Up ask questions call get answers and most importantly PATIENCE it is a hard and emotional difficult process but at the end well worth it. Ty so much I would say call speak to the tier 1 IO EXPLAIN IT IF THEY CAN'T GIVE YOU AN EXACT ANSWER ask to speak to tier 2 IO it's your right and don't let them tell you other wise.hope this helps

Hey everyone, just a quick update on my wife's case. we are out of the country for vacation right now and don't have really good internet access but we just received an email that there has been a status update on my wife's case and when we logged in, it says that she has been scheduled for interview and the letter has been mailed out. Strangely the letter is not available in her account (all previous letters were available in her account) but upon a quick search it looks like the time between the interview mail/email receipt and the actual interview at the Los Angeles office is about a month which we are going to be back well before. Our case is IOE so I guess there is hope at the end of this tunnel after all :dancing:

IOE any advice plz

My only advice is to be patient, there's no rush. We have come this far, so one month more or less shouldn't matter.

The college at which I teach hosts USCIS oath ceremonies. They just sent out an email inviting faculty to attend the next one on October 6th - where I clearly would NOT be swearing in. Is it OK to tell them to shove it? LOL :P

Eugr - do you have an IOE receipt number or NBC receipt number. I am also in San Jose, so I would appreciate any information. Thanks.

Eugr has a NBC number and he/she was waiting for BG check to complete until recently (Eugr and I communicated over PM earlier). I suspect that San Jose is processing NBC applications well past May at this time. Yep, sucks to be IOE applicants (like us).

bi05916 and Harmonia - just read on the other forum that someone went to infopass in Boston. Boston doesnt go live with ELIS until October and only eight IOE cases have gone through the process (training examples perhaps?). So....the wait continues...

Kteam, thanks so much for the update. I tried several times to make it to a L2 officer and could not.... We have an infopass appoitment on oct-12th and will let you know....

BTW, the processing times on UCIS website are useless, since the definition of "processing" is wide open (it can mean interview, oath, officer looking into it...). And it can mean last case or a large percent. In sum, hard to use to estimate

My gut tells me that it is 5 months to interview appointment letter from priority date, or 6 to interview…

Did that person get any additional news at the meeting? Any estimate on the letter?
