You fall into the "different scenario" category.

Looks like you didn't apply 90 days early (going by the green card date in the table). If you had, you wouldn't be placed inline until 1 month before your green card anniversary date.

Since that doesn't apply to you, that means that your background check hasn't cleared yet. If it had, you'd be inline by now.

Nothing to worry about at all, but don't hold your breath; this will likely (but not definitely) take a while.

We had 4 Houston applicants in December 2015. Three were placed inline within a week of biometrics. I was placed inline 3.5 months after biometrics. All four of us have our oath ceremonies tomorrow. Due to the interview backlog in Houston, there isn't much advantage to being placed inline early.

In Houston 7-9 months is normal for the N400 process recently. 6 months would be fast and 10 months would be slow. That's the time estimate from application to oath. Plan accordingly, but realize that things could speed up or slow down depending on the number of applicants each year.

7-9 months?!?!?! :clock::clock::clock::clock: Guess I'm looking at my Christmas Present. :crying:

You said you looked at threads back to December, but December Houston applicants are only becoming citizens this month... so you need to go back further. If you go back to June of last year, you'll see that 6 months is possible, but fast for Houston. The year before that, Houston was faster, with some finishing in 4 months. The year before that, 10 months was the norm.

Did anyone try logging into their DHS account today? I did and the page has changed but I can't say for the better. There are more options to explore but I cannot locate my account information (NOA letter, biometrics letter, uploaded application form, etc.) Weird!

Did it go to my.uscis.gov after login? Someone mentioned earlier to type /account/link after that to make it like my.uscis.gov/account/link to go back to the page where it shows all the notices and everything.

I've been doing that whenever myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov longin reroutes to my.uscis.gov.

I got the first notice on May 21

Then the finger prints letter on May 26

I had my finger prints appointment on June 13

Got a text that my case was on line for interview on June 16

That website is giving me a headache. At night they apparently work on it and I'm locked out of the account. Sometimes I can't log in and it directs me to the regular uscis.gov site. Lately, when I enter my password and it sends me a text AND an email with yet another "one-time" password/code to enter (why?!?!?!), I receive a code via text and then a completely different code via email. Really? :ranting::protest:

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233
