4 weeks since RFE reply - ok to call?

I know the standard is 60 days - and I'm only halfway there, but is there any harm in trying to give them a call now?

1/17/2019.........Mailed ROC package via USPS, two day shipping to Dallas, TX

1/19/2019........Package delivered

1/22/19............Case Received

1/28/2019........Received text from USCIS with case received information and receipt number

1/28/2019........Bank check was cashed 

3/4/2019..........Submitted e-request for non-delivery of receipt notice

3/15/2019........Received email confirmation that a duplicate receipt was in its way

3/23/2019.........Received 18 month extension letter in the mail

7/5/2019...........Biometrics completed

3/11/2020........Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview Status Online. As of 4/13 we have not received any notifications

There will be no harm, but no help either. They'll just give you their standard "it can take up to 60 days" reply.

You mean that you replied to your RFE 4 weeks ago? So you are still waiting on your NOA2 right? It can't hurt to call them, but I doubt it will help either. CSC is very busy and everything is delayed. If it was a complicated RFE too that might make it take longer. I hope you hear something soon.

Delivered 11th January 2016.
NOA1 sent to CSC January 14th 2016.
NOA1 Hard copy January 21st 2016.
RFE email 10th March 2016.
RFE hard copy - 21th March 2016.
RFE Evidence sent- 4th April 2016.
RFE Received by USCIS- 6th April 2016.
NOA2 Received by email dated 18th April 2016.
NOA2 hard copy - April 21st 2016
NVC Recieved- May 9th 2016.
NVC number received- May 9th 2016.
DS-160 filled out - 9th May 2016.
Medical - May 18th 2016
CEAC in Transit - 11th May 2016.
CEAC update embassy received medical- may 24th 2016
Interview- June 15th 2016. - approved!!
POE- July 13th 2016 -Chicago

Married July 18th 2016. (L)

Package sent- August 18th 2016

Arrived at Chicago Lockbox- August 20th 2016.

NOA 1 - August 25th 2016 (text received 27th).

AP NOA1- 22nd August 2016 (text received 27th).

EAD NOA1- 22nd August 2016 (email received 27th).

NOA1 Hard copies received- September 1st 2016.

Bio-metrics- 20th September 2016.

Request Initial Information for I-485 - October 6th 2016.

RFIE- Affidavit Support information October 11th 2016.

RFIE- Response sent Overnight USPS. October 17th 2016.

RFIE- Delivered October 18th 2016.

RFIE- Received by USCIS October 20th 2016.

EAD- Card Being produced November 17th 2016.

Yeah - per website, they received the evidence on 4/6.You and I seem to be on a similar timeline - though you already received NOA2. :)

RFE was my fiancee's letter of intent. We also requested that they correct his name.

So stressful.... :cry:

Hey - I see you updated your timeline! You got your NOA2? Yaaaayyyy!!! Maybe I'll get mine today. I feel like those people in the movie Casablanca...waiting....waiting....

The app updated at around midnight! I ended up calling them yesterday - very nice lady answered, but couldn't say anything other than I was well within the 5 month timeline and to hang tight. Then at midnight the app updated the status!!! :dancing:

I got it!!! Oh my goodness, I had such a long day that I thought I had posted the above message yesterday, but then I really did get the approval today! I got a text this evening, and checked their site.

Whew! I know I'll go through this again and again at each stage, but this first step was really important to me. I feel better prepared for the rest of them now.
