My fiance will probably take GED classes when he arrives while waiting for a work permit. I noticed some say they are federally funded programs. Would this count in any way as public assistance or cause us problems down the road?

No, it is not a means-tested benefit.

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
