We filed a service request in 2nd week of march and they responded as"your case is being currently adjudicated and will receive a notice of action within 45 days" CSC Mid May Filer

That blows as we need to travel in early June and the local service center is about a hour away

Spending an hour traveling to your local service center should be the least of your worries. Typically, they won't extend you conditional status at InfoPass unless it's within 30 days of expiring (30 days from expiration on card). In your case I'm guessing that's after June. You can give it a try to see what happens.

Card expired 5/29/16 so one year takes it to 5/29/17.

 

We travel June 7th.

I was going to make an appointment and go right around April 29th.

That's the best thing to do. Make the appointment. Hopefully your local office will not be like mine - Federal Plaza. It's hard to get an appointment there. It's always booked.

Don't know if you've heard this tip yet, but it's a good idea to check the website for available appointments just after midnight, 2 weeks out from when you want an appointment. That's when their system opens up available appointments.

 

I've also heard (although not verified) that some USCIS offices are now acknowledging the confusion between the date on the letter and the date on the green card and how that relates to when the 1 year extension expires. You may be able to get the stamp 11mo after the date on your letter (rather than, as before, 1 mo before the anniversary date of your green card expiring.)

I need help/Question

 

I was ask sent a RFE, Well we have everything and ready to send, although, there's something my mind, on the letter I received from USCIS, they point some examples of what to send in one of the bullet points, they wrote. Rental Leasing Agreement sign by me & my wife, We live in a apartment that is own my mother in Law, we pay directly to the bank, my mother in law lives abroad (she even gave me an affidavit letter for our marriage) but we don't have a contract agreement for this apartment, should I explain that in my cover letter??

Given that it's your mother in law, why don't you just draw up a basic contract and date it to when you moved in, then scan and send to her- she can sign, scan and send it back, then you sign it, and "Voila!" rental leasing agreement.

 

Or, (and this is probably just as effective) have her write, sign and send you a letter that says she owns the apartment you rent, and that she charges you $X.XX/per month in rent. Then on your banking information, you can highlight the money coming out to pay the rent to your mother-in-law.

 

This is a really easy piece of evidence to get!

Interesting! That's great if the confusion is finally being realized on some level (and maybe will be addressed more concretely at some point... then again, that's probably just wishful thinking...)

I don't see why not - just don't do it in a way that seems like you're hiding something. Because you're not! This document is only spelling out what's going on to someone who doesn't know you!

Say something about "copy of rental agreement between us (ie you and your spouse) and Ms. _____ _______ who is spouse's mother and owns the apartment we live in."

Mailed in May 2016, USCIS received June 3, 2016... as of March 29, my card is being ordered, and soon to be in the mail! There is hope you guys!!
