Congratulations! Hope your step-son's goes a little faster! (Which it might... if I remember correctly, the big holdup on our I-130s and CR-1s 2 years ago almost vanished within a few months of our approval, so maybe the same will be true of those of us applying for ROC)

So I just called USCIS to sumit a case inquiry and the lady said your case is showing as apprroved. I then got really excited and two seconds later she said, "sorry, I was looking at a different case number. Yours is still pending".

 

Needless to say, I feel pretty deflated now!

Vermont is a working on December 2015 cases. You probably have another 4-6 months to wait unfortunately.

Vermont still has a backlog from December 2015 but March 2016 has already started rolling in. It really depends on your case and how quick your able to clear state and federal background checks.

So after that deflating call this morning my status finally changed this afternoon! New card is being produced!

 

I really hope all May filers get their approvals soon!

Somebody posted an article recently in one of these forums (I forget if it was this month or another one), but the article was about cases being transferred from VSC to CSC in 2014 or 2015, not the recent ones going through the process now. Is there evidence of it happening now?
