Make check payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security as spelled out in the instructions. Do not abbreviate. BTW, do read the instructions carefully.

I just wrote N/A in the first field for every child after the first one (as we do have one child), did not write N/A into every field of every child.

Thanks for the response, that helps. Do you have any idea about the USCIS ELIS Account number field? I didn't file my original petition electronically and I believe the only time I used the ELIS system was to pay the immigration fee. I'm not sure I have any account number? Do you have more information on this because the instructions they referred are not super specific.

I sent those affidavits in my AOS, but for the ROC I did not sent any, It's important but that does not disqualified you to get your ROC approved ---

  • (20 Days) 02/27/14 ---- NOA1 Biometrics app for I485, I765 Appointment for 03/13/14
  • (21 Days) 02/28/14 ---- Successful walk in for biometrics at local UCIS Miami --- Same day license renew
  • (48 Days) 03/27/14 ----- Driver License arrived
  • (54 Days) 04/02/14 ----- Status change online for I485 "testing Interview"
  • (61 Days) 04/09/14 ----- Called UCIS to expedite my I765
  • (62 Days) 04/10/14 ----- Meet with my congressman asking him to call on my behalf to expedite my I765

I wasn't thinking of being denied for that...god, that would be terrible! I was asking in case they issue RFE's for lack of affidavits.

As long as you have a lot of other good quality evidence, they're not important.

Thank you! I sent a lot of other evidence to show bona fide relationship, just totally forgot about the affidavits. They sent me a letter reminding me that my ROC window is opening and the affidavits were not listed there, so that's why I completely forgot about it.

Ours has been cashed as well. Looks like VSC is starting to do something. Maybe we'll get our NOA1 soon.

From what I've read on here, these are not really that important as your friends will obviously only say good stuff. Most people get RFEs for not providing enough financial commingling evidence, which USCIS seems to think is the main thing in marriage.
