Hello everyone,

I'm an April filler. I sent my package on April 18th 2016 but receive my NOA pretty late on May 20th 2016. I still haven't gotten any further notice after the NOA. I wonder if I should be worry since I'm an April filler or it is normal since my NOA is May 20th?

This is not for green card holders traveling outside the USA.  It's only for 7 countries, citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.  Pretty much everywhere that cheered as the trade towers collapsed.  Me and my wife are currently back in Israel for work and not worried about this at all.  Israel is in the middle east, Egypt, and Jordan.  All 3 visa's in my wife's passport and no issues.

Any Vermont peeps here who have actually heard anything or received their green card already? I know we still have awhile to go, but suppose we are really close to the extension letter expiring and still haven't received the green card, what do we do then?

In May I will hopefully put in the paperwork to start getting the Citizenship ball rolling, but how ironic I'll be sending in more money when I probably won't even have received hubby's green card yet by then.

90 days prior  to three years from the "resident since" date on the CGC you got when you completed AOS.

Hi everyone,

I didn't check this site long time, but i need your help.

 

On 05/26/2016 the Department of Homeland Security returned my documents for JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status because I sent them earlier than 90 days.I resend the documents on On 05/27/2016.

On the first notice of action from USCIS I-797 from 5/31/2016 there is one receipt number.
On the second  notice of action from USCIS I-797 from 6/11/2016, when they invite me for biometrics on 6/27/2016, there is two receipts numbers:
To check Case Status on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do I use the second one because the first one doesn't exist.
When I was doing change of address on line on 8/5/2016, https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do, the second number didn't work so I used the first number. On my notification e-mail from USCIS about change of address is stands (the first one)

We're in the process of buying a new home and will move again, and also I'm carrying twins my due date is 6/7/2016.

It's been almost seven months since we applied, I saw on excel sheet that some of you people are already approved. I'm in a doubt that maybe they don't have my new address.

 

I wrote an e-mail on CSC-NCSC-FollowUp@uscis.dhs.gov should i also call them on   (1-800-375-5283) ?

So relieved. Interestingly enough, this was the day after I spoke to a tier 2 person complaining about the delay. And to check they had my correct address on file. She said that they were currently working on applications from 4 days earlier than mine. So I wouldn't be able to chase it up until next week. And now I don't have to. Next step citizenship in three months time!

My case updated to say that my card has been mailed out today. I remember being able to track my conditional green card but can't remember how. Anyone able to help?

Me and my wife are currently back in Israel for work and not worried about this at all.  I'm glad (albeit surprised) that you're not worried. I'm from (freaking) CANADA and I'm worried. I'm especially worried that those of us who have been through this extremely long, expensive, detailed, and rigorous process can possibly feel anything but empathy for the people who have followed all the rules to reunite their families, only to discover that even a green card is precarious and can be invalidated by a pen-stroke from the current administration.

 

Israel is in the middle east, Egypt, and Jordan. True. These countries are all classified as part of the Middle East.

The visas being invalidated, ignored and denied (after approval) are for people just like you and me; honest, law-abiding, thoroughly vetted immigrants trying to attend University, take tech-sector jobs for which there are no qualified American applicants, join their parents, children and spouses, and those trying to escape persecution.

Pretty offensive to make sweeping generalizations about some of those countries, as though there weren't people in many other countries in that region that may have "cheered." Yes, including but not limited to, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Palestine etc. I promise you can find evidence to support your "cheering" for all of the above. Bad eggs to be found in all baskets. So please, the basis of this list has nothing to do with "pretty much everywhere that cheered" because that list would be a lot longer than 7 if there was any merit to what you claim to be the reason.
