Finally!!!! We got approved:

 

On January 17, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC161625****, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

Took almost 8.5 months to get approved, receipt date of May 9th 2017.

 

Funny thing is, I made an inquiry about my case, and they emailed me back, saying I was approved:

Congratulations! When did you submit your service request?

My receipt date is 5th May and I submitted a service request on 01/06 and I am hoping for an email like yours!

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the Service Request appears when you check the case status? Is there anyway to check the status of a service request? I cannot see it anywhere on my case status screen.

I have never seen any status of my service request on the case status website.

 

I just got an email notification saying the they sent me the approval notice and when I checked the online case status, it was showing as card being produced.

Anyone receiving an error when checking case status? I just check my status yesterday it was working fine but now it is returning an error.

No I just check mine and is fine, I submit an online inquire and I'm expecting an answer anytime now

On Dec 18 of 2016, my attorney submitted an inquiry about the case status. USCIS sent a letter stating that within 45 days we will some NOA. May be approval, denial, RFE etc. The letter was dated on Dec 30. Based on that, 19 days already passed. How much should I rely on their 45 days commitment ? My case sent to them on May 10 and they issued the receipt on May 23. Its through 9th month now.
