Green card was recieved today. 10 days after USCIS notification. Good luck to everybody, Hopefully it moves quickly for everybody.

I was able to make the service request online now!

The website says that if you don't remember the date you filled you can enter the 1st of the month. So I entered May 1st as the date we filed and it worked.

When I was trying the actual date (may 10th) it wasn't working.

It says I should hear something back by January 9th.

Do you think it would be a problem that I said may 1st instead of may 10th?

And if anybody else was not able to file the service request, just put May 1st and it will work ;)

I dont think there will be a problem since you're already outside their normal processing time.

Hi guys, I have a question for those who filed with VSC.

In January i will be legible to start Naturalization process. Do you think it's ok to do that or should i hear back from the USCIS. Dues\ to the situation with the background check now, we might not hear from them for another year.

Do our extension letter good till the date we sent our I-751?

Hi guys I have a question for those who filed at VSC- does anyone know if they do the biometrics background check when we had the appointments in June? Or will they run it in May when they get to our files? Would be great help if anyone had an idea :) thank you

  • (0 Days) 02/08/14---- I485, I130, I765 Sent
  • (2 Days) 02/10/14 ---- USPS.COM package deliver
  • (12 Days) 02/19/14 ---- NOA Received for all apps
  • (20 Days) 02/27/14 ---- NOA1 Biometrics app for I485, I765 Appointment for 03/13/14
  • (21 Days) 02/28/14 ---- Successful walk in for biometrics at local UCIS Miami --- Same day license renew
  • (48 Days) 03/27/14 ----- Driver License arrived
  • (54 Days) 04/02/14 ----- Status change online for I485 "testing Interview"
  • (61 Days) 04/09/14 ----- Called UCIS to expedite my I765
  • (62 Days) 04/10/14 ----- Meet with my congressman asking him to call on my behalf to expedite my I765
  • (63 Days) 04/11/14 ----- Email recieved from USCIS Requesting proof of financial hardship and job offer FAX SENT @16:02 04/11/14
  • (68 Days) 04/16/14 ----- EAD Status change to "CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION" :dance: :dance: :dance: ----- notification Via E-mail and Txt
  • (73 days) 04-21-14 ----- As per USCIS Email EAD was Mailed today Tracking number ETA 4/23 As per USPS.com
  • (76 days) 04-24-14 ----- EAD arrived a day later than the USPS estimate, I went to SSA to apply
  • (83 Days) 05-01-14 ----- SSC Arrived AND THE NUMBER IS 123-45-6789 ....... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
  • (95 Days) 05-13-14 ----- I485 interview date sent for June 16, 2014
  • (134 DAYS) 05-16-14 ------ INTERVIEW DAY........ OUTCOME IO SAY THEY WILL MAKE A DECISION IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS
  • (143 DAYS)06-25-14 ------ - E-MAIL & TXT RECEIVED FROM USCIS STATUS CHANGE FOR CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION THANK GOD....!!!!!!
  • (145 DAYS)06-27-14 ----- GC ARRIVED TODAY IN THE MAIL........

I-751 Process Start

  • 05-02---- I-751 Sent
  • 05-04 ---- Package arrived as per USPS Online
  • 05-10----- Proof of delivery confirmation arrived USPS

  • 06-13 ----- biometrics done

Eosorio07, we have the same timeline and I haven't received anything either from USCIS. I haven't made an infopass appointment but I did put in a service request about 18 days ago... I haven't heard anything. However, I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet. Roughly 40% of the cases in VJ for March (For CSC) are approved, and they are all past their 6 months mark by now. It may just be the holidays, or the issue they are having with background checks may be affecting ours... who knows.

Hey Visajourney community! I was a silent reader here for a long time and just succesfully removed conditions on CPR to LPR.

I filed jointly in the beginning of May 2016, NOA was dated 5/9/16, Bio 8/8/2016, approval 12/12/2016.

Card was in mail yesterday, dated 12/12/2016! :) If I am not mistaken it took 225 days, so quite a bit above the stated 6 months processing time.

Oh and it was CSC.

What I would like to point out, cause from what I have seen asked on here and other platforms...

My case status, up to right now when I am writing this is still "Card has been mailed to me".

So I never got a picked up by USPS notification nor a tracking number, it just was in the mail, and like I said I saw a lot of people worry about not getting these last notifications and tracking number.

Good luck to everybody still waiting!

You'd think the USCIS would remember it's Christmas in a few days wouldn't you ? Or is the office party season well under way ? I'd really like a happy flipping holiday but it's looking unlikely now :joy:

Just did the same thing with ours. We will be back in the states on Dec 26th so maybe I'll make the infopass appointment as well in case they need anything we can address it while we are home.

But after all, its a waiting game, I am getting ready just in case there is a RFE comes up so I can send them out quick...

May 4th - Signed (Fedex Overnight)

May 12th - RFE (Send back because of incorrect fee)

May 14th - Send to Lockbox Chicago

lol, it might not happen but you never know!...

The website did not even update this month... smh.....

Ughhhhh.. This waiting game is serious!!!...

I just work and dont think about it but.... ughhhhhh.... I have April 2016 google document saved in fav's, so that I can look at it if someone is approved if they do not update it on VJ lol...
