Will the online case status mention that biometrics is done?

I haven't completed mine yet so I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it does not reflect biometrics completion. From my understanding, the case status only gets updated with actions taken by the USCIS. Biometrics completion is an action completed by us, so I do not think there will be a case update once that is done. I might be completely wrong on this though.

USCIS has made so difficult to talk to customer service

since most of the options dont have have the option to speak to customer service

call 800-375-5283. To bypass all the long menu prompts, press 1-1-2-1-1-1 when you hear their greeting and you will get sent to a live person

the customer service opened a service request since he said he does not have access to my file for bio metrics date

when iam free from my office, i will try to call and speak to a tier 2 customer service

(can some one conform if he will have access)

service request will take 15 days lol

by then i might miss my bio metrics

A little late to add, but I sent out my i751 package on 5/17, received biometrics appt in the mail today (6/16), haven't received NOA extension letter... is this normal?

I updated the spreadsheet as well.

I called USCIS last night and spoke with a Tier 2 dude. He says our biometrics has not been scheduled yet.

However, given their track record, I wouldn't be surprised to find the letter sitting in the mailbox today

We did the biometrics. No mention of it at all on the status page. Just shows case received.

There was no mention of the biometrics at the previous stages of the process either, so this is normal.

The status will just show case received until they either approve it, send an RFE, or schedule an interview.

No, it's not normal. NOA1 should arrive before the biometrics letter. USPS probably lost it. Call USCIS. As it is, you do not have any proof of legal status in the US after the conditional GC expires and this could cause trouble if stopped by border patrol or if you need to go overseas.

Just called them and was told to schedule an infopass with my local field office (Atlanta). Tried online, it showed "no appointment time is available at this time, try again later".. Should I just try a walk-in?

Just to give us some hopes (at least the ones who submitted to VSC)

Here is the time line on August 15 filers

Even though the VSC sites says that they are checking into July 2015, some August filers are being approved. Although they have waited 10 - 11 months...

I still hope that we can get this thing done late this year and early next year (Jan-Feb)
