Hello we mailed our package today morning :) should we be considered part of June or May?

Whatever you like. We have people who mailed in the last 2 days of April that are in this thread since USCIS only received it in May. So you might want to be part of the June thread since they will only receive in June. Or be here with us since you mailed it in May.

Does someone know what is the processing time of i-751 in Vermont center? I checked their website and says June 1,2015. Does that means they are processing the applicants who applied on that date?

California's time is 6 months though.

My bank shows my check payment as a pending transaction as of 6/1.

My USCIS Journey...

 

I had an I-485 filing already submitted through an employment-based application. Post-marriage, I submitted an I-130, which after being approved was interfiled with the existing I-485.

Interfiling/AOS Timeline:

01/03/14 - Day 274 - Interfiling request received by USCIS

04/03/14 - Day 364 - Interfiling service request sent

04/30/14 - Day 391 - Second interfiling service request sent

05/19/14 - Day 410 - Email sent asking for case status update

06/04/14 - Day 426 - Response received that I-485 was transferred to NBC

06/05/14 - Day 427 - I-485 updated to "sent to local office for processing"

07/02/14 - Day 454 - Status changed to testing & interview. Interview date August 4!!

08/04/14 - Day 487 - Mini-Stokes interview. IO intended on approving AOS but the computer did not show I-130 approval. The wait goes on...

08/18/14 - Day 501 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 is approved but no card prodn ordered. Asked to call back in 2 weeks if no update.

08/29/14 - Day 512 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 was not approved yet, but my file was with an IO for a decision

09/03/14 - Day 517 - Wrote a request to my Congressman asking for assistance

09/09/14 - Day 523 - Status updated to Card/Document Production

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card mailed to address on record/permanent resident status registered

Same here. My package was mailed on 5/24, but I chose three day priority so it was delivered 5/27. Saw that the check was cashed today. Progress!!!

I should have chose 3 day priority... would of been hella cheaper than overnight! :(

I always get nervous when I get to the front of the counter with USPS... it's like Seinfeld and the soup!

That's odd! They scheduled your biometrics in that tiny of a window? Don't they usually give at least a month's cushion?

Just go asap. A lot of offices don't even care when your appointment is. You just come in with the letter and they'll do it. I remember by us when we did the biometrics for AOS, they were like show us the letter - we just pulled it out and they didn't even look at it, just saw that we pulled out some piece of paper and let us in. We did go the day of the appointment, but went in the morning instead of the time that it said on the letter.

If they won't let you, then call USCIS and tell them to reschedule.

I should have chose 3 day priority... would of been hella cheaper than overnight! :(

I always get nervous when I get to the front of the counter with USPS... it's like Seinfeld and the soup!

Whenever I sent anything to USCIS, I just used the regular Priority Mail using the free envelopes the USPS gives you. Costs like $5 no matter how many papers you stuff in there (as long as you can still close the envelope) and gets there in 2 days with tracking.

No Soup for you! Lol. Yeah, I figured we're already married and that mailing a package at the three day rate won't change that fact, so what's the rush in filing ROC. Saved me a bunch of money. This process is expensive enough. Best of luck to you.
