They will not issue another new letter, normally they will put an I-551 stamp in your passport during Infopass, but since yours has expired, they will have to go another route. I've seen people here saying to bring passport photos and they will stamp on your photo. You can search for those posts.

(From what I've read, if your passport is expired, they don't quite stamp the photos you bring, but rather create a standalone document that includes the photos.)

Hi all,

My I-751 May 2016 filters.

NOA: 05/19/2016

Bio: 06/23/2016

I am still waiting and I have not seen any new updates yet. Unbelievable, my N-400 was sent on 06/06/2017 and My N-400 Biometrics was completed on 06/21/2017 while I-751 is still processing and waiting as usually.

No words can explain right now.

Me too😣 i haven't filed n400 yet though cos I heard that might add an extra 1 year of waiting

I think now that you filed N400, your I-751 will probably be adjudicate along with it, meaning they might interview your for both when you go to your N400 citizenship interview. So there's a chance that you won't hear anything until then.

 

I'm not sure if they will give you info on this but has USCIS said anything about your case being requested and transferred to your local office when you call?

Yes, he did. My I-751 application is still at VSC and he is reviewing it. And he just updated my new address on electric system and noticed me by email on 06/29.

My N-400 application is at Philadelphia local office now, he told me. And he said my I-751 will be approved first before N-400 interview scheduled.

I have almost exactly the same timeline as yours except that I submitted my N-400 at the end of March 2017. Both I-751 and N-400 are pending after the biometrics stage. The officer at the field office told me that my case is still in VSC.

Hi buddy,

I just talked to the local officer in Philadelphia today. She said my I-751 is still processing at VSC. But after I applied N-400 in June at National Benefits Center both of cases are spending now, too.

Not yet. I don't want to add another year of waiting for N400. I am hoping to get the ROC approval first soon then I will apply.
