Wow! unbelievable indeed! What are you going to do? I would set up an infopass if you are close enough to show them that they made a huge mistake.

Geez, someone is not paying attention at the USCIS. They probably lose the paperwork and send out RFEs. This is crazy!

Trust me they do. This is the 2nd time in about 2-3 months I have seen someone report this. Other times it's mailing someone's notice to a completely different address (The poster even put up an image of the letter addressed to someone else, different Alien # etc. but sent to her address). This is troubling.

Well, I called them and after a long conversation and wait until they could finally understand the situation, Inwas told that I need to call back and ask for a ticket so they can check my file and solve it.

Funny thing is that their system

was not working and I have to call again tomorrow.

This is so frustrating!

Hmm, that sounds like a service request and those usually take 45 days. I do hope that is not the case with your file and their screw up. I really think you should be talking to an actual immigration officer. They screw up my DOB when I filled and that was only noticed when I called to inquire about my case, 10 months after NOA. Yours is more serious tho.

Yes, it is a service request. Now, we are thinking about sending the two pages they are asking for and in our InfoPass appointment on May 24th, take all our papers and form copies to talk with an officer.

i really do not know if I can ask to talk with an officer when calling to USCIS.

Yeah, on the phone you only get the great Tiers 2, who to my surprise are pretty useless. Take everything you have regarding your ROC for the InfoPass on the 24th, you should be able to talk to an IO then. I don't understand how they can make such a big mistake...

Those of you who have been approved, do you mind sharing what visa you adjusted from?

I am wondering if maybe former K-1s are approved quicker than others? I adjusted from F1 and we are still waiting

I adjusted from F1. My NOA1 date was May 6, 2016. I got my green card in the mail today. I feel like the timing is just random. Just hang on!

For those who anxiously open their mailbox everyday and end up feeling disappointed, USPS came up with new service called "Informed Delivery" which scans the front page of your incoming mails before they get delivered to you. This can at least let you know what you are expecting before you open your mailbox.

https://realmail.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

The notice I received this morning contained a mail addressed to me from USCIS - I'm genuinely hoping this will be my approval letter! I will update the timeline/calendar as soon as I get to check my mail!

Hoping it's the approval :)

The service is not available yet for my address - boo! :P

I received RFE.

I need help please. Do i need to appoint lawyer now or i should wait for uscis to interview me and then instruct lawyer?

i sent all the evidences i could. I filed waiver with spouse death but we didnt spend much time together and he passed away less than 1 year together.

We didnot have any children. I was housewife so we had separate account which he made for me to spend. We dont have any lease deeds or mortage in both names. The only thing i can send is the 2015 tax documents to show that we filed as married filing jointly though he passed away in middle of 2015. I sent photos, 2014 tax and affidavit by 3 people. They ask for affidavits too now i dont know who to ask for affidavits.

Wow. Someone at the USCIS maybe looking at multiple cases at the same time, hence mixing up paperwork. Hopefully it will be sorted soon. I also noticed that the May 2016 filiers spreadsheet is messed up with VBTWO appearing multiple times. Please amend.
