For K1 we get NOA1 and NOA2 hardcopy also. The NOA1 is not so crucial, but we need to have the NOA2 when we file for AOS :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

You could give them a call or wait a week or two to see if something arrives. It will arrive with your USC fiancé, but I think you know that.

Unfortunately, none of us has a crystal ball :-)

Not necessarily. It's only the NOA2 hardcopy that will be asked for at a later stage. If your petition is approved and you do not get a hardcopy NOA2, you should request a copy.

Some additional clarifications for you:

1) You have only had your I-129F petition accepted, the visa application happens later.

2) Your case was never at the Texas Service Center, but the Texas Lockbox (completely different) - and has been routed (not transferred) to the California Service Center. Please update your timeline :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

The NOA1 isn't really important, it just shows you file. It's the NOA2 that is important and you need to keep it for AOS. My fiance lost our NOA1. I told him to file our NOA2 as we need it for my paperwork when I apply for AOS.
