Did you check the instructions at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se/se-niv-paymentinfo.asp before paying? You should have used the first one. From the info you have there it looks like you might have used their old info? You should contact the embassy and see if they still received it or if you have to redo it.

Did you receive a receipt for the payment?

I'm sorry I can't be very helpful, because I made an online card payment by creating a profile at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Did you use and have the CGI number? You'll need that to schedule the interview.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Hi,

I'm A'n'L, "senior member" describes my membership profile on VJ ;-)

To pay online you need:

- A profile on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se

- A debit card that is authorized for online use

It was really easy!

The link Maria provided gives you the step by step.

That's very strange. Did you make sure to authorize your card for use online and abroad (I had to do this to make it work)? It has to be a DEBIT card also, credit doesn't work.

The information states clearly that the consulate will not refund your money if you make a mistake (unfortunately).

I suggest you do two things:

1) Contact your bank to check on the status of the payment (has it bounced from somewhere)?

2) Contact the embassy for further instructions, they are very responsive by e-mail

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

It's usually the other way. Debit don't work I have seen others having problems with that. Mine wasn't a debit card.

Is 4 days including the weekend? ... And did you also pay enough to cover for the transfer so they didn't take it from the money you were sending?

it's okay guys. problem fixed. i called them and they said they received the payment. they said he added CGI+NUMBER instead of just #

That's good!! ... have you booked your interview then?

Weird, because it clearly states that they only accept debit (which was icky, since I don't like using my debit card online). Also, often banks set debit cards by default to not be possible to use for online purchases (I had to go in my nettbank to change that).

Perfect! Good luck on the remainder of your journey :-)
