You guys are brave setting your wedding dates even before you've submitted ... try to be flexible just in case.

Worst case scenario the ceremony will just be for show, and we'll follow up at the courthouse after the visa is in hand. You can't plan the kind of wedding we're doing in 90 days, anyway. :)

Congratulations! It's a relief, isn't it? And how do you like the weather we're having these days??

If I were you, I would consider the average waits for each step/your consulate posted on VJ. CSC is painfully slow, and that's just the first of many steps. CSC received my I-129F at the end of February and the most recent 'touch' was March 1st. Thus, our file has been sitting in a pile for more than two weeks ... just sitting there collecting dust.

I would re-consider a September wedding until your fiance has the visa in hand.
