My fiancee stayed in US for couple of months, holding b1 visa. we met and have pictures together, August - November 2015. She went back to her country after 6months. So, would that mean I can only file k1 visa petition by August 2017 as a proof the we met , within past two years? Thanks in advance

If the last time you met in person was November 2015, you can technically file until November 2017 (careful about the dates).

Have you not met since?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

we first met August 2015 we dated since then until November 2015. She leave US on November. Last February i visited her country to see each other again. Next year May 2016, i would definitely visit her again.

August was our first meet and having picture together, so by August 2017, I can file k1 petition by then? Am i right?

No, you're wrong.

The requirement is to have met in person within the last two years. It could be your first, second or nth meeting. It has nothing to do with your first meeting.

I met my fiancé almost three years before we filed the petition, but had met the last time just about a month before the petition was filed.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

You can file K1 WITHIN the 2 years of meeting. You cold have met once or multiple times as long as you file the K1 within the 2year from when you last met. In other words, you can file now or file any time from now until February 2018.

P.S. Did you mean February 2016 you last visited her and May 2017 you plan on visiting again? Just keep in mind 2 years from when you last met. If it's within thone years, then you can file K1.

If you are ready to file, you could file now. Once you have met, you can file...as long as you meet the K1 requirements. If you met again in February 2016, and you don't meet again, you now have until February 2018 to file. If you meet in May 2016 as stated, then you will have until May 2018.

If you do want to file, and you are going to see your fiance this month, take the paperwork that needs original signatures.
