I am sad! I just calles NVC and they told me that I have to wait 6 weeks before I can know if my case is Complete or checklist. Today is my 28 days.....my scan date is April 29, 2016

Don't be sad... You most like will find out on May 30th or 31st since the 29th is during the weekend... I would call again on the 31st... That was what I did with mine.... It was on a Sunday... I checked the whole day on Monday and since I didn't see my 3rd N/A I called on Tuesday...

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love. :wub:

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over :cry:

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me. :wub:

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

 

08/2020 Applied to bring my mom. ❤️

02/28/2022 went to pick my mom to the airport in Florida 🤩

You're right in that NVC does only work Monday - Friday and has weekends off. Every agent i've spoken with (trust me when i say i have spoken with a large number of them) has said it's calendar days n

right. count calendar days from when they say scan date. you very well could get case complete either Wednesday or Thursday of this week! Hoping for a smooth CC for you!!!

Thy told me my scan date is 29th April on phone and in mail it was 27th April.so according to me nail today's my 30th day but nothing yet.I called them yesterday and thy said it can tke upto 6 weeks :(

Yea we have the same scan date April 29, 2016.... Nothing yet for me either!

Don't be...it probably won't take that long it's the standard answer. Even if you have to wait 2 weeks more think about how far you've come with the process, you're almost at the end. Sometimes your breakthrough comes at your lowest moments, just hold on.

Anyone with scandate May 9th? Any news yet? ? Can't wait any longer it's sooooo annoying ?

I have scan date of may 9th...I feel the same way. I haven't seen my husband for a while now and miss him dearly :( I know we're all going thru the same thing. But I called nvc yesterday and they said my case is yet to be reviewed.

I called NVC last night to see if they have a case number for us, the officer said next week we should have one!! :)

2/5/2016- I130 sent

2/11/2016- NOA1 Potomac

5/13/2016- I130 approved

5/18/2016- Sent to NVC

5/20/2016- NVC received

6/9/2016- Case # received (Welcome letter)

7/1/2016- Sent our IV and AOS packets to NVC

7/8/2016- Scan date

8/9/2016- Case Complete

9/20/2016- Medical exam

10/3/2016- Interview

Just checked and have 3 NAs hope that means case complete!!

Congrats we had the same scan date and I was told yesterday that I ave to wait 6 weeks!
