Hey! I'm from Mexico too! And this kind of news make us feel hopeful. Congratulations!

We are waiting for our case number, NVC received our case on May 13, so we hope we can get our case number this week or maybe next.

Oh yay!! This stage moves as quick as you want it too after you get your case number and first fee. I was extremely fortunate. Thanks I'm glad there is at least one person on this forum that is from Mexico I do wish you a lot of luck.

How did you find out when your interview was?

I called NVC I'm also in this group on facebook called citados al consulado en cd Juárez and that group is also really extremely helpful I encourage you to join. Especially because it's all Juarez related. I saw that people who got CC on May 6 were getting interview dates that's only 6 days before my CC so I called NVC just to see if maybe and yes I had been assigned an interview. :)

When I submit my ds-261 I called them right away to review it. I received the welcome letter a few hours after and the AOS was unlocked.

That's what I see with most timelines. I just received the NVC Welcome Letter and AOS has been unlocked (IV also says "pay now", is that normal? I don't dare click on it...) But apparently that is a different Welcome Letter than that you need to receive for them to review the DS-261?!

AOS is now invoiced :)

Same here, Maryam. But they still can't review the DS-261.

How many welcome letters are there anyway?

There is only one welcome letter which apparently you received it. Both will say "Pay Now" but Pay the AOS fee first. Once that is paid the IV will unlock for you to pay it. Unfortunately you can't pay both fees at the same time

Yeah I feel like what I got isn't the NVC welcome letter either.

Doesn't the welcome letter include a list or required documents? My welcome letter doesn't list those...

My welcome letter had it on the last page.

The bar coded cover sheet has a list of items to check off that you're sending to NVC.

So I've been waiting for feedback from NVC (the glorious word:case complete) since April 18, my scan date. Does it just depend on the hands your case lands on of the length of time you have to wait?? Why is mine taking longer than other? Plus, they give me no detail on my case other than "Its still under review." :clock::cry:

We have a sponsor as well. Would copies of tax returns be enough or does my sponsor need transcripts. Do they cost anything?
