Nvc received my aos and iv paperwork may 9th...it's been 15 days and looking at other people's timelines it varies on approval. How will I know if im going to get a checklist? I hope I don't but just out of curiosity can someone tell me

Be positive, dont pray for a checklist. I got a checklist on day 33 i was expecting to see a CC. Be prayerful, all is well. In a short while, we will all be done and over with this.

i am the beneficiary and my spouse the (petitioner) does not have full income to support me , my sponsor will be another person not my own spouse so is this case what will be the AOS? shouldn't we be filing I-864 for my petitioner and also our sponsor who will be another man?

Yes, your spouse files an I-864, any additional sponsors file I-864A

There isn't a site to check your case status right now. You can login to the same CEAC site you used to choose your agent (DS-261) and check if your AOS fee has changed from "paid" status to "N/A". That's usually a good indication that your case is complete.

So we called the NVC again and we got an email today saying that we need to send a copy of my passport again.... Well, it has been upsetting but I guess I have to be grateful that at least It was not something else like the AOS forms or the documents we sent to prove domicile...

We are gonna send the copy again tomorrow and the waiting begins again... I guess I'll continue in the NVC June filers....

Don't feel bad I had to send a whole affidavit form to nvc my sponsor signature has to be original and they asked me to resend back the whole documents, I am also in the June file now since as I get a checklist I am now waiting on my scan date I check my trucking this morning and I see that it was delivered yesterday so I'll call NVC on Friday

So, I called the NVC today and thankfully we have a case number now.

Here's the problem: When filing the I-130 we had requested the Montreal consulate. However, the consulate code on my case number is for a different country (where I was previously residing for a short while) and not Montreal. I'm in Canada now and there's no way I can interview anywhere other than Montreal, especially not the other country. Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?

Omg me toooooo!!! My scan date is may 12. I check the ceac website so many times a day, I have a calendar countdown, and I read this forum like all day!!! I'm going out of my mind! Will I get it early? Will I get a checklist? Will I get approved? This is mental torture!!!

Call tomorrow and the next day. I noticed a pattern that between the 11th-13th business day people are assigned case numbers.

I called right before midnight yesterday and nothing. I am not sure I should call again tonight?

As for the case number, I am not sure, but if you cannot find an answer here, I would really call the NVC hotline again and see if they can do anything. This really shouldn't be something that can't be fixed.

I called about an hour ago.
