Hello, Is the case complete spread sheet updated yet? My scan date is April 29 and I am praying for case complete.

If you are referring to my spreadsheet, I just updated it with however info that was posted in this thread (which wasnt a whole lot to be honest).

You're right in that NVC does only work Monday - Friday and has weekends off. Every agent i've spoken with (trust me when i say i have spoken with a large number of them) has said it's calendar days n

right. count calendar days from when they say scan date. you very well could get case complete either Wednesday or Thursday of this week! Hoping for a smooth CC for you!!!

I just called - nothing yet.

Call tomorrow and the next day. I noticed a pattern that between the 11th-13th business day people are assigned case numbers.

USCIS Stage:

Married:12/30/2015 (L)

PD: 2/12/2016 at Potomac

Approved: 4/27/2016 at Potomac .. ( 75 Days! ) :dancing:

Case sent to NVC: 5/4/2016

NVC Stage:

NVC received case: 5/9/2016

NVC case number and IIN assigned: 5/21/2016

Choice of Agent (DS-261): 5/23/2016

AOS Fee Invoiced: ​5/23/2016

AOS Fee Paid: ​5/23/2016

Hi everyone, here's our story

Noa2: May 6th (NSC)

Case was sent to NVC: May 11th

Then we start calling NVC on May 16th,

First they said our case arrived on may 9th after two days of calling they said it arrived on may 13th, and there is no case number yet, anyway the good thing is that they already have it.

Congratulations! NVC should be starting their scheduling for July interview either end of this week or next week so you may not have to wait long for an interview date.

My husband called the NVC today because we should have already gotten case complete and they said they don't have the copy of my passport.... Like really???? I am pretty sure we sent everything.... I don't see this fair... That we have to spend more money and time since we live abroad just for this....

We are gonna try call them again to see what happens.. :ranting:

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love. :wub:

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over :cry:

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me. :wub:

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

my question is what is the requirement for AOS i have read the website but still not sure

do we have to file I-864 for both mean my petitioner and our joint sponsor or what Please explain any body the whole things which needed in AOS package

Is your spouse the sponsor?

AOS requirements are here: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Step_4_Collect_Financial_Documents.html

You need an I-864 for the petitioner, and an I-864A for each joint sponsor.

Your AOS package should include:

  • Your AOS form(s) (I-864 and I-864A's, as needed)
  • IRS Tax Transcripts
  • Evidence of Income (Paystubs and/or employment letter)
  • Proof of Relationship
  • Proof of Domicile (if petitioner lives outside U.S.)
  • Proof of U.S. Status (joint sponsor)
  • SSA Earnings statement (if using I-864W)
  • Proof of Assets (if sponsoring based upon assets instead of income)
