Where does one find the link to find the 3 N/A to tell if you have case complete.

It's the same link you used to choose agent and pay your bills. https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

Keep an eye on the status for AOS fee. It should say "Paid" right now. Once it turns to N/A...there's your third N/A and it's usually a pretty good indication that your case is complete.

Hi we have the same date when USCIS forwarded my case to NVC and I went thru nvcinquiry.com and asknvc.com and email them last may16 and they respond my inquiry may 18 that they received it already and they give my case no.and IIN try to email them also..hope it will help

Neragail, so NVC received your case from USCIS on the 16th and you already have a case number and IIN? That was fast! Ours arrived on the 9th or 11th (two calls to NVC, two dates) and we still don't have anything :-/

hey all,

i have a question please

what is beneficiary ID and how you will get it?

and second question is " Paying AOS Fee and IV free" it is before submitting DS-260 and DS-261 OR after

i meant paying the both frees is before or after submitting DS-260 OR 261

because there is confustion in reading both websites one says before paying free you will fill out DS-260 and other one says after you paid then you will fill out the DS-260 its a little confustion

thanks

Check out this link: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

You fill outs DS-261 (that's the online one) first, then you pay the AOS bill, although it seems you can often do this on the same day or on two consecutive days. A little bit after that you can pay the IV bill. The DS-261 is the choice of agent form, which is the first step after receiving case # and IIN.

thanks happiestoflives

the other webiste says you have to pay even before filling out DS-261

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved/step_2_pay_fees.html

there you go ...

After submitting your payment online, please allow five daysfor NVC to process your fee payments before continuing to the next step. You will not be able to access your DS-260 Application for an Immigrant Visa until NVC has processed your payments.

you don't need Beneficiary ID.

Once you get your case number and Invoice number:

  1. complete Choice of Agent (DS-261)
  2. Pay AOS fee -- sometimes this doesn't become available until after you receive the NVC welcome email.
  3. Call NVC to review your DS-261 over the phone -- once reviewed the IV fee is available to pay within 24 hours. Again sometimes they won't review your DS-261 until after the Welcome email has been sent to you. That's why I put this step after the pay AOS fee.
  4. Pay IV fee -- once IV shows "Paid" status the IV Application is available to complete. Paid status could take up to 5 business days.
  5. Complete IV Application

You can send in your AOS and IV package anytime after you pay the AOS fee. All you need is the Document Cover Sheet.
