You can go back in

Congratulations! We have the same scan date I'm so afraid I'll get a checklist since I don't have 3NA yet!

Thank you! :) I am keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get CC by the end of the day!

angela_garcia23 : i have another question we received email today and also got our case is updated online that they sent our case to the department of state now my question is that i have to call them to confirm did they receive our case or not , so after dialing NVC - 603-334-0700 and pressing 1 then which number i have to press to confirm weather they received our case or not , mean which option number i have to press to get confirmed aout our case

thank you so much

When did you get the email stating that your case was sent to NVC? It takes a few days to actually get to NVC. If you just got the email you might want to wait a bit maybe like 3 days to call them. Then again you can call as many times as you'd like its what gets this going quicker. You call and it gives you options to choose from and then you just click which one best fits your question. I believe regardless of which one you press you should be able to get your questions answered. :)

We will have a joint sponsor for my husband since I live abroad with him and our kids. Our joint sponsor will fill out her form this week so she can sent me her form to me. For the taxes is it ok to have copies of them or does she need to get something else? Since I have read that if we sent copies we will need original to show at the interview.

The only original documents that they need are all completed I-864 with the wet signature for everyone that fills one out and all supporting (IV) documents. copies of the taxes are fine.

You just submitted your AOS & IV documents. It will take at least 30 days for them to process your documents. You should be checking this CEAC site: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

Once you login, keep an eye on the AOS Fee status. It should currently show "Paid." Once that changes to "N/A" it's a good indication that your case is complete. Then you'll call NVC again and confirm that it is indeed complete. Once you case is complete, NVC will assign an interview date and time for you. then a few weeks before your interview date, NVC will send your case to the overseas embassy where the interview will be conducted. THEN you will check about your visa status which is this site: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

So I will not need my joint sponsors original taxes, right?

Question about the I864: Part 5 Sponsor's Household size not sure if I did it correctly. We are using a joint sponsor so she will be filling one out as well. The other questions is do I still have to do part 5 since I am the petitioner for my husband.

Also on part 5 the total number comes to 5 but there is only 4 of us.

#1 Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit automatically shows 1

#2 Yourself (me) 1

#3 If you are currently married enter 1 for your spouse. (But he is the beneficiary) I put 1

# 4 If you have dependent children, enter the number here. (Do I include our children here since they are US citizens. 2

#5-7 0

Total shows 5

What am I doing wrong?
