if i'm not mistaking, AOS has to be submitted by mail. They need the original signed copy, not scanned (electronic)

Advice needed!! I electronically submitted all my documents in ONE email on April 19. I got an email today saying that they don't have an Affidavit of Support form... I quadruple checked my sent messages and the AOS is 100% attached. Called NVC and the rep looked into it for me but she says she was only able to see 6 attachments. I was trying to ask her if someone only uploads relevant files to the cases or what not, and I think the answer is yes... so perhaps someone failed to upload the AOS I sent to my "case file." She told me to just resend it but then I have to wait another 30 days for that to be reviewed. She told me that I can get a supervisor to review but it takes up to 42 days. My question is... does anyone know which route is faster at this point? Should I ask for supervisor review or should I just resubmit and wait? My husband is deploying later this year and I really want to see him before he leaves and also don't want to have to move to the US by myself... (I also asked about expediting a case with the embassy but it seems they can't do anything until all documents are reviewed by NVC anyway).

It says on the NVC website that you should only use one method - so either all electronic or all mail - so I do think you are supposed to sign the original AOS form, scan it, and then send it. That is what we did and we sent in our package electronically, including the AOS form, on May 4th.

Which correspondence did you (Christinebee) receive from the NVC after sending in all your forms electronically?

Okay i got an email saying they received our case on may 9th and they started the process. Received this email on 12th may. So i dont know what will be the scan date.

"The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 09-MAY-16. We are experiencing a high volume of incoming mail at this time. Please allow 30 days from the date we received your mail for the NVC to review your documents. We are diligently working to reduce our review time and appreciate your patience. The NVC will notify you after our review if there is additional information required or if we are able to schedule your case for an interview overseas."

you should wait till friday call after 6.30 pm to nvc . i prefer to call evening time they much nice then day time ...good luck

My sponsor live in a different state when she signed her AOS form she fax it to me NVC is not accepting it because it looks like it's copy the signature has to be original and that's a reason for my checklist so yes I think she might have to mail in the AOS document without original signature

My scanned April 12th but when I called yesterday they said they review my document from Tuesday but I get a checklist. so they should review yours soon maybe today

I always call 7.10 am once they open it takes 3-4 min for answer I called this morning rude ladie told me wait up to 45 days
