Yes at 9:47am got this email. Hubby is leaving in morning to take that longgggggg bus ride to Lagos. We don;t even mind. WOW all the planning can start now. I am so happy. Thank you God and Thank you

Thanks but no need for all this. We were approved yesterday 3 days in AP. No field agents nothing. The system was not responding it did we were approved. Husband is back in Lagos tonight to drop off P

"According to our records, he is required to drop off his International passport. He should print and fill out the attached document and drop them off at any of the DHL Collection Centers listed".

Well i am sorry to hear this from you. dont think otherwise the consular officer used their discretion on decision made on this type of application. All i need to tell u is your husband should be alert field officer are going to do their investigation to see if your marriage is real. There are lots of red flags on the matter to point out and you know it. you may think u have done your homework but your best is not good enough. Your husband abode in Nigeria will be contacted and dont be surprise when they asked neighbour about your husband relationship just to see if the neighbour will point something different from what they have on their records. We all went through this stage and know how exactly u feel when your application is on AP. i hope this will not take any longer so u can move on with your life

Jan 20th 2016 - Embassy require more in-depth info on asset for i-864


Feb 1st 2016 - Sent more in-depth info on assets as requested. Received the next morning


Feb 16th 2016 - Visa has been issued :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:



In the US


April 5th 2016 - POE Newark. No questions asked.


April 14th 2016 - SSN received


May 10th 2016 - First day at my new job :dancing:


May 27th 2016 - Green Card received


June 7th 2016 - Got my Texas driver's license

64days in AP and still counting. I had one update March 4th next day after hubby interview, guess it was because I email embassy same day after interview. Embassy replied April 7, saying that case is undergoing mandated administrative processing.
