no one does care. where's the white lives matter movement? are blacks the only ones shot by police?

You can blame your community leaders for that one. All lives matter is the official white lives matter movement, but let's be honest about it. They don't care about white people that are killed by the police. The real reasons there isn't a WLM movement is two fold. One, as a whole, not all, white people have a favorable view of the police. I'm sure it's around 60 plus percent. Second, if they did, it would in the words of the author above validate BLM's movement and say that police brutality IS a big problem, which is what black people have been saying for decades.

Police in the U.S. have killed more white people in the first seven months of 2015 than people of any other race — at least 335 so far. Adjust these numbers by population, and we see that police are killing black people at a rate more than twice that of whites. Beyond these limited death statistics are the broader studies that show police are more likely to subject black suspects to force, abuse and harassment — which, again, doesn’t mean white people don’t also face frequent mistreatment.

That's why there isn't a WLM movement. You see it here, if a police brutality thread is started, it's considered anti-police. If the majority as a whole would get together and speak out about it, then change can come. But as long as it's minorities doing it, it's considered complaining.

Must be harder than you make it out to be since more than a few here make it clear as day they're not getting ANY kind of emotional affection at home. But hey, some folks like those arrangements where they sleep in separate bed rooms and greet each other with one liners instead of hugging and kissing. I guess when it's cold as ice in the home, coming here and arguing with random dudes about a religion or color of someone's skin would be a brief respite from that special kind of hell they would call a marriage. Not to mention, I've only heard of one other couple meeting here on VJ in such a manner. That's two out of a few thousands, kind of makes it unique yeah? I think the two got married and have a pretty solid relationship.

Didnt originally being up genetics but i did ask a question. Probably wasnt appropriate to suggest a genetic link in the first place and I think you called it correctly as the hardest of hard core racism. But we already know who the worst racists among us are and choose to give them a pass but that doesnt excuse them from being called on it or being treated and plastered with the exact same labels for the exact same behaviors that they assign to others.

we have a police brutality movement that's all inclusive. if you feel the need for a white lives matter movement, go for it. i dont think the interest is there, myself. the white community doesn't have to hold itself accountable for the issues of mass incarceration/poverty/crime along racial lines the way the black community has always been expected.so whites don't get to rally in protest along racial lines either.

well then that answers your question, white lives matter isn't a movement because white people don't need to join together at the exclusion of other groups to protest the killing of white people by police. protesting police brutality as an inclusive movement is enough.

i'm not really sure i follow what you're upset about, that white people don't protest more? because they do. plenty of white people are involved in organizations such as cop block, plenty of white people are working within the system to bring about positive police/community relations in small communities. not to mention, white people are involved in the black lives matter movement. but white people are not told to fix their "own" issues according to race, black people are. i didn't mean 'nobody cares' about white lives lost to cops, i meant nobody cares about focusing on the white race. that angle isn't necessary.
