US Passport size photographs required for IV package?

I am preparing ahead for IV package, and wondering if the US passport sized photographs of the beneficiary/applicant are required to be included with the IV package?

Ok cool. I think I would just carry the US passport sized photographs to the interview then. Wondering which checkbox should I mark against the "Photographs" on the NVC Welcome Letter checkclist. Unavailable or Not Applicable.

yes the beneficiary has to give two passport sized picture

I undersrnad I can send them to NVC and NVC will forward them to embassy. What I am trying to figure out is that do I HAVE to submit them to NVC. I would prefer to just take them with me to embassy on interview day. Would really appreciate if someone can clarify it.

My understanding is that I don't have to submit them to NVC as DOS website doesn't say to submit it to NVC, just says to take them to interview with you. Sorry cant post a link right now as am on my phone right now.

Looking at the NVC website, you're correct, it just says to bring them to interview. Now it's been a bit since I've been through this part of the process so what I suggest, is calling the NVC Monday morning and inquiring yourself.

I originally was going to send the photos with the IV package, but now I'm just going to have my spouse bring them to her interview.

I'm basing this off the document cover sheet excluding any mention of passport photos as well as the NVC website stating to bring the photos to the interview.

Just for everyone else. My wife was told by NVC rep that those pics dont have to be included in IV package and beneficiary/applicant can carry them to interview. Hope it helps.

I don't see "Photographs" on my checklist. Is it possible you have an older version?

It's my understanding that "unavailable" is for documents the beneficiary is unable to obtain at all, such as police certificates in some countries or birth certificates in certain situations. Not for things you just don't happen to have.
