How long will it take ?!

So I had my AOS interview in Denver and everything was going great ,I had a great officer who was joking with me and my husband throughout and just as he was about to wrap up the interview ,he realised my medical was outdated by ten days :-(, I had no idea my medical had to still be in date by the time I had my interview ,even the officer said I had no way of knowing and they shouldn't of taken over a year to schedule my interview,so anyway he said once they receive my new mm Medical will be approved .I've sent my medical off.roughly how long am I looking at until I hear something?

Will they send me a notice to say my greencard has been approved first or will my green card just turn up ?
