The information you provided here is inadequate. Did you propose her for a marriage yet ?? How long do you know each other ?? Does she have an income in US, which is over poverty line ?

She needs to apply for a K-1 visa and not you, once she needs to submit an application with USCIS and then once they issue a NOA you will have to collect packet 3 (I assume) from your country. Since you're not a citizen or a permanent residence of Germany so USCIS will send it to US consulate in Tunisia.

She needs to file there in the US but one of the criteria is to know each other for at least 2 years if i remember well...

Half right. :-)

She needs to file an I-129f petition and you need to have met in person within two years prior to the filing.

so long as you are legally resident in the country you can process there, do you have a student visa to study in Germany? Edited by Illiria

Yes he is correct. If the beneficiary is legally resident in a country, they can do medical and interview there. A tourist visa does not count, a student visa does.

Is this something for sure that a student visa counts

from filing to interview about 6 months.

Men from Muslim countries like Tunisia often get AP after the interview (Additional Processing= extra security checks)

I read someone once you have to be residing, not necessarily "legally" residing. I need to find that...not that it matters in this case.

Actually a mulim should marry and forget the K 1

You may be successful if you do get to interview in Germany

but so many K1 from MOrocco, algeria and Tunisia get denied

i would marry the girl and go the CR1 route

Positive. I am a Canadian, I was legally present in NZ and had the medical and interview there.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
