I just received my appointment in the mail today but its a day after I am leaving to another state

Is there anything I can do, should I try to walk in early or reschedule? (USCIS Elizabeth NJ office)

How early can I walk in? The appointment is in 13 days

09/25/14 - NOA1 Text Message
05/04/15 - NOA2 Text message - Approved
09/15/15 - Interview Montreal [221(g) given for missing ORIGINAL Birth Certificate]
09/15/15 - Ceac Status shows Admin Processing for Sept 15th
11/13/15 - Sent missing document via Loomis to Montreal
11/16/15 - Loomis Tracking shows delivered
11/19/15 - Ceac Status shows Admin Processing for Nov 19th
11/21/15 - Ceac Status shows READY for Nov 21st [Case Creation Date updated to Nov 21st]
11/25/15 - Ceac Status shows Admin Processing for Nov 25th

I would definitely try to do an early walk-in. While some people got rejected for doing that, a lot of people made it successfully. As for the timeline, you can go there as soon as you have your biometric letter (don't forget to bring other required document with you).

alright thanks. Im seeing people post that they get an interview notice weeks after their biometrics were done, what kind of interview is this???

2015-05-07: NOA2 Approved!

2015-06-15: Received Packet 3 by mail

2015-06-17: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate

2015-07-14: Received Packet 4

2015-08-10: Medical in Toronto

2015-08-16: Received medical envelope

2015-08-24: Montreal interview- APPROVED!

2015-08-27: Visa arrives at Loomis location

2015-08-28: Visa in hand!

2015-09-17: Entered USA

2015-10-23: Married!

2016-01-11: Sent AOS Package I-485, I-765, I-131

2016-01-21: NOA1 Package received

2016-02-19: Biometrics

2016-04-01: AOS interview- APPROVED!

yeah I am doing AOS right now but I thought the interview is suppose to come in about 6 months?

AOS interview. It could take from couple weeks to a year, totally depends on various of factors.
