Hello, when we received initial NOA receipts for our filings of I-485, 130, 765... One of the notices had our last name misspelled. It was on I-485. I immediately called and had that corrected and in a few days our I-485 case status changed to this:

"On April 22, 2016, we updated your name for your Form I-485"

Great, right. But today we recieved our Biometrics appointment date in the mail. And this form again has our last name misspelled.

Please tell us what we should do now? Call to correct that? Go in for fingerprints with incorrect last name notice?

The typo is a missing letter in our last name.

Please give us your suggestions and if anyone was in similar situation. Thank you! Thank you!

Call the service line again, and tell them there was a typographical error in another notice and ask them if it's correct in their system in relation to the Biometrics appointment.

If they can't confirm it's correct in their system and will pose no issue at your appointment - make them open a ticket to have it be immediately amended, ask for an Officer to follow up with you to make sure it will be taken care of and not cause an issue.

They misspelled my husband's last name Bosman as 'Dogman' on our initial petition and I was sent a new notice after 10 days of my request for error on the document, and an officer followed up accordingly within hours of my initial call.

Hope this helps!
