Hi!

So, our situation is kind of strange. My fiancé was a student in Canada for the past 5 years, and has gone back to the U.S. only last November, and started working only in January. He has an annual income over 40K, thus is able to support me.

The thing is, he doesn't have tax history, and all the supporting documents we have for now are a copy of the letter from his HR confirming his position and salary, and his last pay stubs.

Would that be sufficient or should we get a co-sponsor?

Thanks y'all!

It should be okay. For peace of mind you can get a co-sponsor for the I-134. Then have your soon to be hubs just do the I-864 alone since he is currently employed at well over the poverty guidelines. The I-134 isn't legally enforceable.
