Hello,

Me and my husband are almost finished with our visa journey, and we are filling out the I-485 for the Adjustment of Residency. I am currently in the US and married within the 90 days. As we where filling out the I-485 it asked for the Nonimmigrant visa number... The issue is, I have lost my passport which is extremely unfortunate. I was curious on how I could obtain that number so we can finish the form. Thank you so much.

(mod hat off)

That is is extremely unfortunate happening for you. Did you by chance make a copy of the visa page? Do you realize that you need to provide a photocopy of the K1 visa in your passport with your other AOS evidence.

Have you considered contacting the issuing bureaucracies the Department of State, or the interviewing embassy/consulate to seek a duplicate or replacement? I hope that you are able to find your passport.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I unfortunately do not have a copy of it. We've called our local embassy with no luck, because of the fact its all automated.

This is how you contact the Immigrant visa Unit in London. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-information-services/contact-us-immigrant-visas/u-s-embassy-london-visa-unit-contact-form/?_ga=1.224800787.847207316.1438020395

Have you applied for a replacement passport?

Hey all,

Which number is the "nonimmigrant visa number"? I see a bunch of numbers on my passport visa page but none that I can clearly identify as such...

Thanks!
