Welcome back Dwheels!

That's great news for you...we got put into AP....got 221g...additional financial docs needed. They asked for 1040 from my father in law but he's a private contractor and only get 1099; they want a job letter from my husband. They also said we may need another sponsor if these things can't be provided. I feel like I'm lost with all of this now. :(

Congratulations Hansona!! So happy for you:). Amadia, I'm really sorry to hear about AP, I know you feel lost at this point but try to focus on getting them what they need so they can quickly approve it for you. Praying super hard for you, it will turn around really quickly, you'll see. Hang in there, we're here for you.

Also, to the rest of the group, I have a quick questions. I had gotten feedback to fix a really minor error on my sponsor's I-864 form and was told to give my husband the corrected original form, which I already have done and he's prepared. Has anyone gone through something similar where they had to fix a really minor mistake on their form and bring it to the interview? If so, can you share any feedback as far as whether it was any kind of issue as long as the corrected form was brought?

Thanks everyone!

:( No worries though. The financial stuff shouldn't be too bad. The 1040 form they're asking for is his tax return. 1099 is the consultant/private contractor version of a W-2, not the tax return he'd submit to the IRS. Best thing to get would be his IRS tax transcripts. Otherwise it would be the tax returns AND his 1099s.

Edited to add: As for the letter from his employer, it doesn't have to be too detailed. Just needs to be on letterhead, signed by a company official (such as an HR person) and have his start date, whether he's still employed there, his job title, and his salary.

Hopefully you can get those things together quickly and be on your way soon!

Nvc called my wife and told her that my inte iterview is reschudled from 7th to 29th !!! Is anyone here have the same problem

Oh, so sorry, Princehope! Looks like something is going on with the Moroccan Embassy/Consulate, and they are not available for interviews on the 7th. Now you know why they say "Don't buy airline tickets until you have your visa in your hand!".

Three weeks will seem like an eternity - but you will get through it!
