You are so sweet. Thanks a lot for thinking about us. We are not victimized by the flood. But most people were affected. Non-stop raining all over the country.

I am only victimized by AP. :) They asks the tax transcripts for year 2014 & 2015. Tommy has given some other tax application copies or something instead of tax transcripts. Our lawyer or NVC never corrected us. At-least they never asked me to bring that for the interview. :rolleyes:. I knew nothing about those US documents. Now Tommy has to go back US and email those documents to the Colombo embassy. They kept my passport and other originals. At the moment I am not feeling good. Thanks for concern dear friend!!

Anyway.. we will go on a 3 day outing tomorrow. :)

I'm happy to hear you all are safe! So AP is definitely not denied. Does your husband have the 2014 & 2015 Tax Transcripts at home? Would someone be able to scan and email it to him so he can send it to the embassy today maybe? If he has to request those transcripts then ya it'll take a couple of weeks. keeping your passport is a good sign though. once they have these two items, you'll be all set! i'm sure the will give you the original documents back too.

We have Visa in hand. Oh happy day.

But why they trying to test us wirh this sealed visa packet. I want to know what it is dang it.

So happy. Now can get on plane wirh a clear mind. Yes lord

what is difrence betwen ATTN DR and ATTN CMR ?.

When you first send your AOS and IV Packages, it goes to Attn CMR ( _____ Mail Room -- not sure what the C stands for). When you send additional information for checklist it goes to Attn DR (Document Review -- separate department than the initial)

Just checked the CAEC website and it says ISSUED.. Within 24 hours!!

I'm sorry to hear about that, but know that it's only a delay. Once he's able to get the appropriate tax documents in you guys should hopefully be all set. Cheer up knowing that it's not a denial, just a delayed approval until they receive those documents. ;)

Time quickly approaching my friend. As my husband would say, drink some warm tea (he thinks warm tea cures everything). All will be well!

Question (again)..how can one tell if they have touched the case? I'm sure I know the answer to this but the circuits have fired up as of yet.

Nothing to worry about. It's either READY, AP Then Issued. Even though we were put in AP it never went to AP stayed READY until 15 days later it said Issued.

Thank you Dwheels76 just hope they don't contact me saying I forgot to leave a document or something even though they didn't ask me for anything apart from the original certificates.

i just mailed my NVC check list today .Do anyboady have an ideal how long for NVC to complete my case. The initail 30 days is already past?

Between 30-35 days if all goes well.

Hi eveybody , im just wondering about smthng i heard everywhere thats the AP for males is garanteed in morocco and arabic country !! Is that true ?

I wouldn't say guaranteed but the majority in the MENA'S get mandatory AP.

They will tell you all is fine just extra admin. Processing which can take days to weeks or more.
