Has any1 seen any post from Tommal?? I'm worried for them since all this flooding etc is happening in Sri Lanka....I pray that God keeps them both safe and they have gotten "approved"

You are so sweet. Thanks a lot for thinking about us. We are not victimized by the flood. But most people were affected. Non-stop raining all over the country.

I am only victimized by AP. They asks the tax transcripts for year 2014 & 2015. Tommy has given some other tax application copies or something instead of tax transcripts. Our lawyer or NVC never corrected us. At-least they never asked me to bring that for the interview. . I knew nothing about those US documents. Now Tommy has to go back US and email those documents to the Colombo embassy. They kept my passport and other originals. At the moment I am not feeling good. Thanks for concern dear friend!!

Anyway.. we will go on a 3 day outing tomorrow.

Catching up slowly as usual but congrats to everyone with CC´s, interview dates and approvals!

Can´t believe we´re almost finished with may and june is coming up already. 20 days, and 2 hrs until interview. Sooo ready to be done with all this.

Just read online about Sri Lanka having a massive landslide and lots of families missing. I hope you and yours are ok. I hope it doesn't effect your interview! Good luck!!!

Thanks a lot LinJoe. I am safe from the flood. Our area is out of danger. But most places in the country are affected. Heavy showers just stopped at my area.

How long does AP after approval take?

There's AP and then there's AP. You were approved, So the status A is usually 2 to 4 days .

Well at the Hotel In Lagos waiting for my flight tonight watching this sad news of this Egypt Air flight and stomach in knots because I have to fly over that same water and northwards over Boko Harom Territory.

But in a good tip JD is out and about to the Visa Center he left this morning to go pickup the Visa. I so hate this ustraveldocs.com that gives you nothing but

"There is no status update available for the passport number submitted"

I have heard people say it still says that when ts ready and when they picked up. Like come on now. Of course when you email the, and ask they tell you to please look at your ceac status. Well that's been Issued for 2 weeks. I am so sure.

Well I will stay on line until I have no more internet. Frankfurt has wifi. Oh boy.

Do let me catch up. I was 11 pages behind since May 18th.

Asked for all the original doc. marriage certi, PCC, birth certi. no other proof like photos together or anything.

what does your husband do?

Done withing 45-50 mins of entering the consulate.

Currently the CEAC status says Issued.

Okay I am now abit worried again. I know it's just a day after the interview but I checked on the status and it still says "ready" same as it did on day of the interview. Should I be worried?Is this normal?

Nothing to worry about. It's either READY, AP Then Issued. Even though we were put in AP it never went to AP stayed READY until 15 days later it said Issued.

Hi dwheels my wife's application on ceac website is showing ISSUED. Do you know how long does that take to call them that passport is ready for pick up? She went to interview yeaterday ane it was Ready, AP yesterday and now all day saying Issued. I actually booked a ticket for her about month and a half ago for may 27th. I know that was a very desperate step as it could have been so many things that could have gone south but I just went ahead and did that Lol!! Her departure is almost still a week from now but it would be awesome if she has visa on hand asap. Again how much is the usual time for passport to be picked up after it says Issued.
