Congrats to everyone on their approvals! So happy for all of you!!! To everyone else who's waiting to hear about interview dates, hang in there, you'll get it soon enough, promise! And to those with upcoming interviews, praying really hard for all of you! My husband's is coming up in June as well and I know exactly what everyone's going through. I read everyone's posts and say out loud, "yep!" I know the feeling!!! It's a long and stressful process no doubt, but God is great and we have to trust his plan for all of us, we'll be reunited with our loved ones really soon, we must simply keep on believe that and holding on to it when we feel like we can't take it anymore.

Much love,

mjsweetie

*and that was suppose to read cures...I hate that autocorrect chick...she gets on my nerves!

Yes...he tells me about warm tea all the time or warm Red Stripe...the Red Stripe is an excuse for him to drink early in the morning because I have worked his nerves! My father-in-law swear he a bush doctor..they have me break leaves and stems off of s*** and boiling it in watta and drinking it (tea leaves people)...maybe that's the reason I am so cra cra....I better start finding out the origin of some these riots they have me drinking (mostly "feva" grass or thats how my ears deciphered it but to me it looks like a plan on fern).

When I saw all the posts this morning about how stressful this process is, how much the USC typically does, and how our husbands might not feel all that pressure until close to the end, I laughed... My husband and I have felt the pressure together throughout the entire process (although in different ways), but whenever it became a point of contention for us, or became overwhelming, we jokingly referred to the pain as the IMMIGRATION MONSTER. Right before my husband's interview on Monday he assured me that he was going to bring a machete along with him to slay it once and for all. I'm not sure how embassy security would have handled that...

This visa journey is very stressful. Especially, when you are doing mostly of the parts by yourself alone.I wonder any other feel like me. I am an USC petitioner. My husband doesn't even have a clue of this process. I am the one filled the forms, organized the documents, called USCIS and NVC many times, looked for the house, tried to enroll my kid in school, contacted movers and insurances. One of my friends asked him about how was the process, he replied.. "arrrrrrrrr.. it is not bad ..you just need to be patient ". I don't know what to say.

I understand how you feel. With exception of a couple of things that my husband had to take care of on his end, I handled all paperwork, evidence, etc. myself but I guess I prefer it that way because I'm very meticulous. Just as long as your husband appreciates it and I'm sure that he does. My husband has thanked me several times throughout this process which has meant a lot. Stay encouraged and don't allow this to stress you because you're almost done. Once your husband is here you'll see that it's all been worth it.

Hon-tee, I know and everyone says....enjoy where you are right now because life is going to change soon. (sideeye) Okay.....If he's tell me to "relax mon, relax" one more time, I promise y'all gone see me on World News. "Woman looses it after husband says relax." And if he's not saying that....it's (brace yourself)..."It's just gas..". So if I say, gosh...my head has been killing me all day...."It's just gas...you gas will make your head hurt." Last night I was telling him that my iron level must be really low because I have been feeling light headed and dizzy...."It's just gas, gas will make you feel like you want to pass out." Really? Okay.....

 Hahaha, too funny. My husband says "relax, everything will be fine" all the time. The other one is "rest, you just need to rest". I think it's cause they don't know what else to say lol.

My husband's interview is tomorrow, and I looked on the ceac website and it says at NVC and yesterday it said READY. Is that normal?

All the best on your husband's interview tomorrow!! We look forward to hearing the good news :)

And yes, it should be in a status of READY now since your file is at the embassy.

Yes...Ready indicates that your embassy has your case and waiting for interview...(I think that it may say that in the "fine print" that it's ready for interview or some verbiage to that extent...been a while since I've logged in and looked at ours).
