Hello everyone congrats Dwheels, so our interview went well today but we were put in AP and receive a 221 paper for a joint sponsor. My husband meets the requirements now with his current job but his 2015 tax transcript is showing different so joint sponsor it is. But all in all passports were kept and they asked us just to bring that and we will be good to go.

So sorry to hear that you and the kids were placed in AP but like you said, they kept your passports so that is one positive side of the coin ;)

Question: did your husband submit separate i864s for each of you (you and your 3 kids?) I hope that was not the reason for the AP...

Yeah he did submit separate I864 for each child. Are you saying he was supposed to do just one?

No no...I asked bcuz my husband did the same for us but since you got put into AP in lieu of a joint sponsor, I'm saying that I hope it was not bcuz that the poverty line was not met for all of 4 of you.

Essentially, each application must have its own i864/i864a and so on so he did not go wrong where that was concerned ;)

Hello everyone,

I know this thread is for spouses/fiancés, but I had been following and participating here, I think I am on the spreadsheet as well. I just wanted to share the good news... yesterday I received the email containing the date for my Mom's interview (The Interview Letter (P4)): June 28, 2016 at 09:00 am.

Dwheels, you can update that on the spreadsheet...

Good luck to everyone!!!

M

That is great news! Congrats to you and your mama. I can only imagine the relief you must feel now knowing that you are 1 step closer to having her with you in the USA; especially with the goings on in Venezuela right now....very sad and heartbreaking!

PS: This thread is not only for spouses/fiancees. It's for ALL VJers who have gotten their visa case complete and awaiting an interview - IR1, CR1, IR2, IR5, F2, EB, K1, K3, etc. So don't feel excluded :goofy:

I collected my medical results today. I got a small envelope which was sealed like Fort Knox with strict instructions to not open/tamper with it and take it to my interview. I also got the famous cd every1 mentioned :goofy: along with the vaccination records and the chest x-ray results. My kids and I tested (-) for TB and we got the vaccines so it's just to head to that interview on Monday.

I also see that I'm sharing the day with my global counterparts:

Hansona (Ghana),

Sunshine1 (Guyana),

aga75 (Spain),

ShirleyYDavid (Dominican Rep),

springyu (Turkey),

SimonSailor (UK) and

sherbo (Egypt)

Best of luck and God's blessings on all of us for an approval!! :innocent::yes:

Best of luck my dear. To answer your question I thought him meeting the requirements now was what was important. NVC didn't checklist us for a joint sponsor so I thought we were good to go. Anyways I'm looking for one now. Good luck on Monday.
