What a relief, thank you!

I have his tax stuff from the 2015, 2014 and 2013 here which we have also sent to NVC plus a copy of the I-864 EZ with his wet signature so I hope we're good. Kinda hoping they will be really busy on my interview date so they won't bother with all this anyway, haha ?

get a copy of his 2015 tax transcript just in case. i'm sending that to my husband just in case they ask him for it....even though they have the actual returns and W2 already. Better safe than sorry. better to have more than not enough.

Yup, got the transcript here already since NVC asked for it in the P4 letter.

Being german I like to be somewhat over-prepared and WAY ahead of time but with all this stuff I always feel like I'm still missing something ?

Thanks for the clarification LinJoe ☺

During my Case with NVC i submitted tax from 2012 to 2014. Do i need to submit proof for tax filling in 2015? I am currently on Extension plan to submit once my wife comes here.

My Question - do i need to submit proof of my tax for 2015?

Interview date - May 24

Your wife should at least bring the extension form and your 2015 W2s to the interview along with an updated I-864 form showing the income amount for 2015. I believe Dwheels76 is more familiar with what tax info to submit at interview when you file an extension so she may be better able to answer this for you :)

Yes I have exactly the same issue. I posted this earlier and got a very informative response from dweels76. so basically I sent my AOS with 2012, 2013, and 2014 tax information only on Jan 27 2015. Then for 2015's taxes filed an extension for the reason that I would file it once my wife is here. Just make sure you fill out a new I-864EZ with 2015, 2014 and 2013 income on it sign it and send it your spouse ALONG with the 2015 Tax Extension Form 4868. And newer I-864 should be with wet signatures.

My wife is going for interview on May 19 so would definitely share if she was asked about the taxes. We also got a checklist from NVC for her to bring along 2014 W-2 even though we did send that to NVC..

All the best for 24th :)

Here's an update to my situation.

I'm the petitoner and live with my family in the UAE. CC on April 14-15th for my wife and children. I'm being laid off from my current job, I really need to be out of the country by mid-July. Even as a US citizen, once your job is finished here your visa is cancelled and you must exit. For my family it is worse, as they cannot reenter without getting a tourist visa first.

Seems the AUH embassy is slow. If I get the interview in the same timeframe as someone posted earlier I will be okay, but I'm concerned it could go longer. I just called the NVC and there is no update.

I have a job lined up in the USA that starts early August. But if I don't get the interview before mid-July it's going to be real problem as we will have to exit and go somewhere else, and I will have to find my family somewhere to stay in a third country while I go start work. We have all been living together for many years, and my children need to be in school. It will be very disruptive if we don't get this finished soon. Is this a strong enough case to ask to be expedited? What's the process to expedite?

Hey guys...just out of curiosity:

Our case has been recieved by the embassy and has been "touched" (updated) 3 times since then.

Does anyone know what they are actually doing when they update it?

Probably a stupid question, ahem...

26 days and 16 hrs until interview, wahh!

Maybe they are just going thru your paperwork....but it is a requirement to update each time they access your case....maybe.

Yay!!! Let the countdown begin. My husband's interview is in 34 days. God willing, everything goes smooth...he will be here in my arms in 43 days!!!

I hope everyone going through interviews will get approvals! I hope the CO's get in touch with their inner Oprah and just give away Approvals, "YOU GET AN APPROVAL! YOU GET AN APPROVAL! YOU GET AN APPROVAL! EVERYBODY GETS AN APPROVAAAAAAAL!" :)

(that's me getting in touch with my inner shsl73 -- i'm outgoing when I warm up to people. :))

As much as you're talking about countdown.....I just realized that (from my own signature ticker)....MY INTERVIEW IS IN 10 DAYS....OMG!!!! I didn't even realize that it was coming up so fast...I feel a bit frantic to be honest....I'm always here trying to help others keep calm and positive but I feel a bout of what Debbie had when her hubby's interview was getting nearer...the stomach heebee jeebees!:help:

Lord....calm my wracking nerves.... :rolleyes::innocent:

Question in regards to the medical results. Did anyone who did their medical and pick up collect a x-ray disc? The disc is for POE correct? I've had a rough day today so it kind of slipped me as to what exactly the lady said to me when I picked up the results. Also is it just for Jamaica or do other countries give x-ray results on a disc also?

well all UAE members are in similar sitution here my cc date is 25th April and still waiting for an interveiw date as this moment you cant expedite your case because june is already booked, according to my research you going to get your interveiw letter in june then interveiw will be in july so you are fine.... but still you wanna expedite then call nvc and ask them for expedite ur interveiw request but they would not care much about your case as its not a life or death matter for them...but you can try its free and you wont lose anything..... you can have a tourist visa for your family its not very expensive in order to have little safe side of extra time just in case...
