Hi everyone i have my interview very soon and i need a quick answer please :(, do i need a new affidavit of support from my wife and irs transcript at the interview? We send them 2013,2014,2015 irs transcript and my wife filed all her taxes icluding the 2015 tax ! ??

So you sent NVC the 2015 tax info as well? If so then no, you won't need new affidavit of support since 2015 is the most recent tax year. Just be sure you have a copy of the affidavit of support and tax transcripts that were sent to NVC to bring with you to the interview.

Just means someone is looking at it and getting things ready for your interview. nothing to worry about. it's a good thing.

there's a tiny piece of me that's worried because visa is not guaranteed, but I'm trying my best to leave it in God's hands.

Ahhh, okay. Thanks for this, makes me feel better! ☺

I hear you... I keep asking myself what we'll do if I get denied or something. But let's stay positive and repeat "Yes we can" over and over again ?

Got a similar question:

We were told to bring the IRS transcript for 2015 to the interview. Asked on here earlier and got told that I also need to bring an updated version of the I-864 EZ. The thing us, the gross income for 2015 is already on the form since hubby has filed taxes before we sent off the paperwork. He just didn't have the transcript then.

So in that case will the IRS transcript alone be okay?

During my Case with NVC i submitted tax from 2012 to 2014. Do i need to submit proof for tax filling in 2015? I am currently on Extension plan to submit once my wife comes here.

My Question - do i need to submit proof of my tax for 2015?

Yea, I would think you can use the same I-864 EZ since it already includes the 2015 income and just bring the 2015 IRS transcript.

In our case I updated the I-864 EZ to include 2015 tax info for the interview since I only submitted 2012, 2013, and 2014 tax info at the NVC stage. I scanned the updated form to my husband in time for his interview, and they didn't even ask for it, maybe because I had proven to be over poverty line all 3 years. But glad he had it just in case.

if the I-864EZ you included in the AOS packet had your 2015 information on it, then nothing really needs to be done. I did the same thing -- send in 2015 tax returns and W2 with I-864EZ having 2015 info.

However, being the phobic self that I am , to be on the safe side I printed off another copy of the I-864EZ I already sent in, signed it and included it in the file i'm sending my husband along with the 2015 Tax Transcript.

if the I-864EZ you included in the AOS packet had your 2015 information on it, then nothing really needs to be done.

What a relief, thank you!

I have his tax stuff from the 2015, 2014 and 2013 here which we have also sent to NVC plus a copy of the I-864 EZ with his wet signature so I hope we're good. Kinda hoping they will be really busy on my interview date so they won't bother with all this anyway, haha ?
