Yay!!! Let the countdown begin. My husband's interview is in 34 days. God willing, everything goes smooth...he will be here in my arms in 43 days!!!

I hope everyone going through interviews will get approvals! I hope the CO's get in touch with their inner Oprah and just give away Approvals, "YOU GET AN APPROVAL! YOU GET AN APPROVAL! YOU GET AN APPROVAL! EVERYBODY GETS AN APPROVAAAAAAAL!" :)

Sorry but I have to make this all about me. Just checked Status and it says ISSUED (the Visa has been printed) even though we know it hasn't. But now when we go back to Lagos next week to send me off we can pick up and I can leave Nigeria relieved and ready (So much to do). :dance: :dance: :dance:

Okay back to our regular scheduled programming. Man we are on page 59 on the 15rh day. We are chatty people here. hehe Love it. Debbie is a happy wife. I am telling you.

Well here's the problem you have a lawyer. Sorry. Please call NVC it's your case you need to be proactive. Sorry but F*&% what your lawyer says about "waiting". OW and you paid them money to what sit.

Hi, so I followed your advice and called nvc. According to the representative, my case was completed May 9. But visa is unavailable. They are processing November 2014 applications. So we are 6 months behind since we applied May 2015.

Yes! You can interrupt any programming on here anytime hehehe. Next week we switch places you come back to the US and get things ready and I go to Nigeria and get things done. But before I go just want to rub off on your victory as it was done to you so it shall be done to my hubby and I. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Safe travels on your journey to Nigeria! Definitely hope I can travel back there soon myself. Hubby will be here 2 weeks from today, but hoping I can use what's left of my 24 month visa before it expires. ;)

Our case has been recieved by the embassy and has been "touched" (updated) 3 times since then.

Does anyone know what they are actually doing when they update it?

Probably a stupid question, ahem...

Congratulations. But bring your albums if you want they do not keep your originals. It's fine.

Also I don't have you on the spreadsheet and you have no timeline. When was your CC and when did you get your Interview date? Thank you.

Oh, sorry! My first response to this was silly. If CC means case creation and not case complete like I first thought CEAC says 18 Aug, 2015. We paused our progress at the NVC level though so the time lapsed between creation and interview assignment is not indicative of current processing times for Montreal. We sent our paperwork in to get the ball rolling again on April 12, 2016.
