Thank you for your response. The CEAC status says still "At NVC", but I have a lawyer, his advise is "just wait", so will it jeopardized anything if i directly call NVC?

Yes..it's definitely a waiting game but you having a lawyer does not mean that you can't call to inquire (as far as I know).

Just got my interview scheduled for June 23! I'd like to bring pictures of the wedding etc but I'm not sure if they'd keep them? I know they want photocopies of all the civil documents, but should I print off extras of my photos in case they ask to leave them behind at the consulate?

Hi,

Don't know if any1 replied to you but packet 3 can be left blank but packet 4 is the interview letter. So you can put the date you got your email from NVC about the interview date and time at your consulate.

Thank you! I've been lurking since we submitted out first package alllllll the way back in April 2014 but only just got to registering, haha. Visajourney has been so helpful throughout the whole process! I think I'd have been completely lost without it.

We had a mess with USCIS where we didn't get any of the mail they sent us and we had to call about everything though, so I don't have any dates to fill out a timeline beyond a vague monthly idea

Calling NVC won't get you into trouble. They are used to ppl asking for updates ;-)

As for CEAC:

The CEAC tracker won't give you any info about the progress at this point. I did mean for you to log into the Visa Portal where you can see the status of your payments and all. Does it still say PAID next to AOS Fee or does it say N/A?

If it says n/a next to AOS fee (so you see 3 N/A's on that page in total) it is usually a sign for case complete. But even if that's the case you should still call NVC to confirm.

I don't know if the priority date actually matters in your visa category since I have a different one. Sorry...but maybe someone else can help. Best of luck!

Sorry but I have to make this all about me. Just checked Status and it says ISSUED (the Visa has been printed) even though we know it hasn't. But now when we go back to Lagos next week to send me off we can pick up and I can leave Nigeria relieved and ready (So much to do). :dance:

Okay back to our regular scheduled programming. Man we are on page 59 on the 15rh day. We are chatty people here. hehe Love it. Debbie is a happy wife. I am telling you.

Such sweet words I just checked mine it changed in last 20 minutes from AP to Issued. Oh happy day.
