I am happy for you too!!

Hubby will land in Sri Lanka on the 17th

More than getting excited for his visit, I am so nervous about the interview on the 19th

Oh ...Friends tell me something to make my mind

Is this natural for everybody, when the date will be closer??

I cant eat or sleep or don't feel to talk with anybody...

Like my mind is completely empty.

It's absolutely normal to feel this way..mine is on the 18th and trust me I've not had any sleep..You will be just fine..Believe in urself and the Supreme Being to see you thru

I have a quick question, what documents should my wife take to the interview? I have the following document codes in the interview letter:

CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS C

1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1 R

1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 2 R

PASSPORT J

3 - BIRTH CERTIFICATE J

4 - ADOPTION F

5 - MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE J

6 - MARRIAGE TERMINATION F

7 - COURT RECORDS F

F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE Y

9 - MILITARY RECORDS F

10 - PAKISTAN POLICE CERTIFICATE X

PHOTOGRAPH Y

F - PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE F

does this mean, she only needs to take the originals for code 'J'?, copy of this Interview letter, 2 photographs, sealed medical envelop?

And I'm guessing "Pakistan Police Certificate code 'X'" means it's not required since it's unobtainable?

Also should I send updated I-864 with 2015 tax return as most recent info in it, and also copy of the tax return as well? I read through VJ that they require an updated I-864 along with the recent tax return if Interview is after April tax deadline.

For 2015 Tax return, I filed W-7 form with my tax return so that I could file MFJ and claim my wife (beneficiary). In the form I-864 : Part 5 - Item 3 which says "If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse." do I still enter 1 even though my spouse is the intended immigrant and I have already added 1 for her in Item 1 of Part 5. It seems pretty straight forward from the instructions but just to be clear so that CO at interview doesn't bring an issue..

Please let me know if there's anything I'm missing, or I'm on right track?

All originals are required at Interview so bring those. If you didn't send NVC 2015 tax info you need to bring to interview. No. It's the same fr you sent to NVC. Household size is the same. You put a 1 on #1 and #2 nothing for #3 (spouse) That doesn't apply to you.

There is no mention of Biometrics anywhere on the interview letter. Is that done at the interview itself or do i have to schedule it separately? If so where?

Check step 3 of the document in the link above from the mumbai consulate. You have to schedule a separate appointment first.

Interview date June 24th after a CC on May 4th! Whoo hoo! Can anyone tell me the specifics on trying to request an earlier date from the embassy? Things I have to wait for, etc.?

I recently went into the embassy and It was almost empty. I jokingly asked the women helping me if they ever get so busy, and she told me no. Maybe we can squeeze in a little earlier since we already completed our medical exam.

Congrats to everyone one else who have gotten their interviews scheduled, and good luck on this next step. To everyone else waiting, I do hope you hear back soon!

I would first get the medical done once you get done you can try contacting embassy. But most will say "we don;t have your file". So usually you have to wait until file arrives at embassy usually 3 to 4 weeks before interview. So watch the Status change to "READY".

3. Please provide original documents.. [ She was given a positive news!]

Question: For greencard process payment, how do I get Alien registration number? where it is located?

Hey guys I wanted to know if someone can shed some light on this issue I am having. I know friends who got their case complete after I did but they received an interview for our embassy already. Is there a reason its out of order I thought it was a queue?
