Hello..

I just need clarification on the P4 letter. I got an email with the P4 letter for the interview, I was wondering should we expect a postal mail also?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the CEAC status to change from 'Ready', once the visa interview has been approved? Thanks.

Your case changes to "READY" when the Embassy/Consulate has received your paperwork from NVC. Usually happens around 2-3 weeks before your interview.

That isn't the case of lately...maybe u need to go bk n check

I just follow the trends for Jamaica and the dates speak for themselves....none have been less than 3mths (90 days) of case complete so no need for me to go back and check...see for yourself:

Case complete - Mar 8

Interview scheduled - Jun 14

The above are just a few. Many consulates try to give interviews within 1-2mths but Jamaica consulate has had a reputation for scheduling interviews within 2-5mths of persons getting their cases completed.

Maybe the confusion (and clarification) is that, and if I am reading the thread correctly, the original post indicated that someone filed in Dec. 2014 (not sure if that's a typo or not) and is still waiting to be notified for a scheduled interview. Based on the information above pulled from the spreadsheet, there'a noone with that long of a period petitioning for a beneficiary at JA Embassy still awaiting to be notified or scheduled. Hence, the reason for asking to go back and look at the spreadsheet.

For example, my CC was 2/4, interview notification 3/28 and interview date 5/25. Yes, from CC to the acutal interview date is somewhat lengthy but not over a year or a year wait to receive the notification of a scheduled interview. For the most part, JA has been fairly quick with turnaround regarding notification (at least for me and our case). With that being said, yes it is longer than some yet shorter than others to the actual interview but there are many factors that could come into play as well that we are unaware of.

We just received the interview letter via e-mail but have yet to receive the case complete letter. Has this happened to anyone and should we be concerned? Also, the interview letter has a L next to Marriage Certificate but there is no document status code definition for L. What does L imply? Thanks.
