When she was asking me the last question, she pulled a file from under her desk and just pulled out my approval paper. She didn't have to print it or anything. It was just there and ready for me. I also realized That the paper isn't generic because it has your case number and alien ID number on it.

Now if that isn't confirmation that the decision is made prior to your interview...I don't know what is

My kids and I have a scheduled appointment with my primary care physician to get the required vaccines this coming Tuesday.

My kids need to get influenza, Hep A and varicella....I just need influenza and varicella. It's costing me TT$1600 less than what I would have paid at the immigration physician's office for those same vaccines! I think we got lucky in that my doctor was willing to order the vaccines for us to get them done....I think that some persons may not be that fortunate and may have no choice but to pay the high cost for the vaccines since these are a requirement of the medical.

Imagine, the available vaccines are given FREE in the health centres here in Trinidad & Tobago....the immigration physician's office is charging persons TT$300/influenza, TT$475/varicella and TT$350/HepA.....crazy if you ask me! :wow:

Hey I noticed your kids aren't getting the meningococcal. They didn't need it because of their age? I really wish I was given more information when I called other than to be backed in a corner the way I was so disappointed.

This is for Jamaica. all the clinic where you will get medical to see what all you need. Every country handles requirements differently.

My mistake. Just goes to show just how little I know. Hopefully I didn't cause any setbacks for anyone

what does that second status update means on ceac website? .. one week before interview..

it still says ready though..

Every time they access your case, update read what ever there is a Case Status date change. It means they are preparing for your interview. It stays in READY as the verbiage says "You are ready for interview".

Did you get yourself a new police report for your interview?

Yes... I think it only last 6 months

OK fanx dwheels for always been there but the pcc from Ghana says it is valid for 6months so I'm extremely confused. I had mine in September last year.

.

I think you should get a new one just in case
