Hi everyone tks for the new thread. I have a question I went for my medical yesterday and took our children. I had to pay 200 US for a vaccine that the last told me is required for the kids to go to school. I was crushed I had no idea and when I called I was not told this. So basically I was blindsided by this 200 US each for our kids. Anyone know about this. Don't remember the name of the vaccine. Anyhow can't get the medical results until I pay that fee. What do you guys think. Someone with kids?

So if for example they have all the slot or openings from embassy for all countries, do you know how they handle which embassy is first or which one is last? there is any way to know that?

They say First in - First out regarding what?

I understand perfectly that NVC do the schedules (also say it by my embassy). And also there is no one in the forum right now from my country in this step, so I can not check agains that.

Anyway I see this is luck and patient, which I already lost in this process.

Case complete order refers to each embassy. Some embassies might not have sent their June Calendar in yet. Some basses are already full.

Remember there's a lot of people not on Visajourney.

When you call NVC be specific to your embassy and ask "have you started Argentina June scheduling yet?".

I'm sorry you felt uninformed but I'm certain the FAQs for the medical appointments state that vaccines which are required will be a separate fee and your embassy's website does indicate that you contact the embassy's medical examiner in your country to schedule the appointment and they will inform you on the cost of the examination and any additional fees associated with same.

Maybe they did not tell you that vaccines are separate.

When I called to schedule mine and my kids' own, I was told that if any vaccines are required we have the option of paying for it there or getting it done at the public health facility for free where I can scan and email the immunization record for them

See that's the thing I did call and was just told how much the physical exam will cost. I also mentioned that I have kids. I feel deceive in some way. They had all required vaccine for here in Belize. They were up to date. She blindsided me with this vaccine and told me I could not continue with the medical unless the kids get the vaccine.

She said it is required for them to go to school. I just don't feel right about it something seems off. I asked her if I could take the kids to get it down locally and she said No they don't have it in our clinics.

I guess there is no way to find out if I was lied I also wanted to come back and she informed me that she was leaving the country on Wednesday and won't be back until The 12th. My interview is the 17. I felt trapped to let them get it and pay for it. I didn't have all the money so our medical had to stay there until I pay.

CC was April 26th, today I called them (29th) and they told me my interview date is June 29th! Finally!
