We have been APPROVED. AP over 5 days. Lord my heart. :dancing: :joy:

Yes at 9:47am got this email. Hubby is leaving in morning to take that longgggggg bus ride to Lagos. We don;t even mind. WOW all the planning can start now. I am so happy. Thank you God and Thank you Lags embassy.

"According to our records, he is required to drop off his International passport. He should print and fill out the attached document and drop them off at any of the DHL Collection Centers listed".

Congrats!

Congrats to all new CC's and interview dates! Seems like NVC is really working well these days! And I saw some visa approvals too (I just can't keep up with you guys) so congratulations to you as well!

35 days until my interview and CEAC tracker just changed to "In Transit". Wohoo!

Still not sure if I will actually get another letter or email from the Embassy in Frankfurt but I guess I'll just wait and see :-)

Mine is till at NVC.

Question of the day, where it asked on DHL registration site; Enter the country correct dialling number to the country where you are applying for a visa. Which country's number do you put there?

I put my husband 's number because he is the one who will pick up the passport. If you will pick up the passport, then put your number.

Hello everyone,

I am a little confused... I was updating my VJ Timeline with the CC date, and I noticed the spaces to fill in information about Packet 3 & Packet 4...

Can anyone explain to me what those are, and why there are no Packet 2 or Packet 1 dates, and why? Or point me to the right guide to read about those.

Thank you,

M

Packets 1, 2, 2a, and 3a no longer exist. Packet 3 has been renamed the "Instruction Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants". Packet 4 is referred to as the "Appointment Package for Immigrant Visa Applicants".

Yes...I put in his number as the contact number...I will verify it for you shortly...I think that once you are done, it tells you that you have until the day before the interview to modify it. I will have the information for you was way before then.
