Congrats again Edissa and journey mercies as you travel to MA! The weather here is somewhat unpredictable, but has been a bit nicer the past week so hopefully you'll touch down to some beautiful weather. All the best to your and your wife! :)

First, JASM....congrats on finally being reunited with your husband. Light at the end of the tunnel is shunning bright.

Second...Edissa508 has become one of my closest VJ family members (there are several more) but I tried to help him out with what to pack..my only hope is that he folds everything and zips the suitecase. Hahahaha. I would love to see a picture journal of that process from him!

i'm new on here but have been checking this forum for constant update since last year June, I just got my interview date which is july 18th in Lagos Embassy. Dwheels76 how are you ? like i do see every one mentioning your name..

Congratulations. But you have no timeline so when was your Case Complete so I can add you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group.

The requested docs were delivered to the embassy this morning.....been checking CEAC like a VJ junkie even tho I know that there may not be any change in my status as soon as I'd like :goofy:

I was just thinking about you...well it's okay to be a stalker under certain circumstances. It will all work out in your favor...Trust and believe. And if you get to antsy, email them and inquire.

Hi all, I see that it's beneficial for your spouse to be there at the interview if possible, but many of us can't be there due to work and other reasons. Is it a factor in making a decision? Can those who couldn't have their spouse's with them let me know as well please.

It is not a requirement. It is helpful in some countries. You should be OK in the UK.

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
