Is anyone here have hes interview date rescheduled by the consulate or know someone with the same situation ? I just wanna know why its been rescheduled? It can br a problem in the case ? Im worried ! My interview date was 7th june and become 29th june ! Im so disappointed..

Does it matter? Interviews get cancelled all the time. CO sick, overbooked. All you can do is show up when your reschedule is set. I sure won't e worrying the reason why. The embassy rescheduled a bunch of Ghana K1's from April to June. Imagine 2 months later.

Disappointed yes, worried you shouldn't be. Just prepare as usual.

Hello everyone! :) Just called NVC to get an update. My case was completed on May 23 but they have not assigned me an interview date yet. They said that he couldn´t say anything for a specific country but they had already begun to set up interviews for July but so far I dont know which month it will be for me. But I´m happy that I finally passed NVC´s strong hold lol. My visa case has been to a supervisor review because of a misstake done by NVC so we asked a senator for help. That senator has helped us out a lot and I´m finally passed the hard period. Now I just have to wait for an interview date and I already have EVERYTHING prepared for that :). Congats to all of you that has recieved a date! :) And for my fellow VJ´s that are still waiting: Stay strong! You will soon be with the one you love :)

Congratulations on the case complete. Welcome to the group. I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Well, hubby's on his flight now. Total travel time including layover is about 24 hours. Will be arriving here tomorrow afternoon! :D POE is Boston, MA.

It'll be a busy weekend ;)

To all that have served our country for us to be able to enjoy the freedom that we have today, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Lives were lost, and many families had to sacrifice, I am truly humbled and grateful.

I pray that everyone has a good weekend, and a great Memorial Day!

That is so awesome...

And words of appreciation are very much appreciated!!!

Enjoy the hubby

How sweet are you. Yes I salute my military peeps. Thank you for your sacrifice that allows us to whine, vent, complain then scream with excitement over our love ones getting to immigrate to us. I am grateful. (L)

Did you call your clinic to ask f you need it. I only know of one country that needs any form. I would verify or check on travel.gov site to see what your country requires for medical.

Thank you so much for your answer and your help dwheels76!!

In my Country there is only two Doctors and she never respond my emails, so I really don´t know if there is a form,

God is good, just got back from interview with hubby and we got approved. The officer that interview my husband was very nice not much questions but he asked me to have a sit while he was interviewing my husband. Then he called me up and asked my husband to have a sit so that he can interview me. Then you told me call your husband so I can speak to both of you and he said visa approved. We are so happy and full of joy.

No you posted in the correct current thread. The previous month is always closed because that month is done. We always roll over any the start of new month and the title reflects the month of interview scheduling. Keeps us all together.

This might help the confusion. All embassies are done with June scheduling. July scheduling should start usually the last few days of the month and continue until slots are filled. Or they run out of applications. Your Ma 16th Case complete was way after scheduling was closed for the month.

And even though you see spaces available doesn't mean spaces available. More than likely all those spaces are for visitor visa, student visa or K1's or others who get to schedule themselves.

Hopefully you will get a July date so hang on. And es you can always request an earlier date doesn't hurt to ask Cancellations happen all the time.

You fin

Thanks dwheels76

Ironically I get the P4 email (with interview date) this morning even though the guy specifically said (on the 20th) we do not have a date and they will not schedule anymore until June 1st. Our date is July 15th. I certainly hope I can move it up as this is pushing everything too close to the start of the school year here. As I understand sometimes the visas don't come for 10 days or more after the interview and booking airfare at the last minute will be risky and pricey. Some of the flights to the US in early to mid August are already close to full. I suppose all the summer travelers are trying to get back before the school year also.

Well...well...well...look what the Embassy fairy dropped off!

Check your PM!

What did it take, 7 business days from the interview date for status change?

Yes 7 business days or 9 days overall for status change. I do believe yours will be sooner than that though. So as you would say to me. "Start looking into ticket prices"

Just received the Interview letter via email! :) I'm still a bit confused since I was told by fellow Mexican filers that I should have received the welcome letter through the mail but I never did. I was also told I should get the interview letter through the mail as well. I'll just have to wait and see if that happens. If for some reason it doesn't I can just take a printed copy of the one I was sent through email right?
